The 99%: "We are the 99%!"
The 1%: "We're BATMAN"
Actually it would be awesome if the world worked that way. "Banking CEO awards self multimillion dollar bonus, buys cowl and batcopter"

And what does that guy do? Charity events like visiting sick kids in the hospital. He's awesome, and the world could do with a few more CEOs like him.

That's all well and good, but why is it called dinner.jpg

He's calling for a take-out on his batcell.

His vanity is his downfall. I wonder how many crimes went unfoiled while he dashed to the bathroom to apply black grease paint and eye-liner around his eyes so there wouldn't be distracting gaps in the eye parts of the bat mask. Also, how much more quickly would he have been able to start dealing with business if he hadn't been waiting to have the bat sprayed black and then dried, probably while some sworn-to-secrecy team of labourers installed an automated rising platform in the bat cave for it to be parked on? This is a guy who puts extravagance and aesthetics before justice.

I wonder if some people even pay attention.
It was 5 months.
IIRC he didn't start his rehab until Bane sprung the trap for the cops. That makes it three months.
Suspension of disbelief has it's limitations. It's really substitution of belief any way. We agree to new rules but those rules still can't be broken, without a penalty.
But one bad clown doesn't ruin the circus...
My problem wasn't with the acrobatics, it was his ethics, which seemed more flexible than a rubber-man.
One strange example, his ideological stance on firearms. He won't stoop to using them in a fight but he has no problem throwing a few thousand lightly armed cops (who looked pretty fresh for having lived in a sewer for three (or maybe five) months) up against a well fed, well rested, well supplied hoard of psychos with armored vehicles. Is that a case of vicarious pistol-packing?
And while he doesn't carry, every one of his vehicles is armed to the teeth with state of the art ranged weapons. What's that? Plausible deniability? "I didn't shoot anybody. My helicopter shot a tank which happened to have people in it..."
If the rules governing the character can be altered at will, you have no character anymore.

So this thread, already a trainwreck, just got invaded by some truly idiotic posts. The train had just been nuked.

I wonder how many more surgeries could be done if surgeons didn't bother to take proper sterile precautions.
Of course, this analogy is going to go straight over your head but then that's life, that's the bell shaped curve.

Yes, you are right. He doesn't use guns so he should impose his personal beliefs on the whole world.

Perhaps because when in them he can't punch through walls? Oh wait, he can't do that when he's not in them. Silly me. There is no way that the weapons are there to clear obstacles is there? In fact we've never seen him use them for this purpose have we? No. Only in every film.
Oh what fun we had.
The nuke was shaped like an actual trainwreck.

Holy fuck, you took me seriously? I wonder where it is you think you are on the bell curve.
Get a grip.
