I tried to play some Dark Mod but when I searched a bit I found that the setting for many Dark Mod missions is this sort of alternate version of the real world and that ruined a bit of immersion for me so I wondered could anyone recommend some Dark Mod missions that are set in the Thief universe? I guess the Talbot series is set in there since Talbot missions are a part of Melan's missions set in Thief world, right?

None of them will be explicitly set within the Thief universe, for legal reasons.

TDM cannot use names/characters (or symbols etc) from the Thief games because Square Enix, having bought Eidos, owns the copyright.

The Dark Mod can't be officially set in the same universe as the Thief games for legal reasons. The official Dark Mod wiki says:

There are no Keepers, no Hammerites, and no Garrett. You may notice that there are
certain similarities indeed, just about enough to avoid any nasty legal stuff that might arise otherwise. :) Can't help you with finding any Thief-like missions though, sorry, but I doubt that there are any that are "officially" set in the same universe as Garrett/Thief.

The fun thing is that The Dark Mod's universe is more Thief-like than the Thi4f-2014's Universe.

I'm not sure I'd say that was a 'fun' thing so much as kinda sad, personally.
