Note to self - release April Fool mission upside down.
I'm torrenting right now! Though there's more bees than their is seeds, so I needs at least a little time to get almost all of it, so if you guys can just grin and bear the difficulties of downloading TDM for a while, that'd be nice!

The torrent is not too bad, I am getting around the 80KB/s...Unfortuantely I cannot upload a lot as my uploads are also counted towards my monthly quota...But I am uploading...

@Kin: g_fov is one of those that doesn't 'stick' in doomconfig so instead, this works...
Create a text file: autoexec.cfg in your doom3/base folder and enter into it:
set g_fov 100 // sets player field of view (default 90) or any comment you want
[EDIT] note the format is different to doomconfig - no quote marks.

Well, I guess it's just my frame of reference. I've clocked my bitrate at about 500kb in some rigged situations.

I'm late to the party again, but this is great news. Congratulations! I think I can say without even having downloaded it yet that this is something you can be really proud of :thumb:
Now I just have to sell a kidney and buy some spare-time. I'm going to download it and at least check out the training mission if I can.

@Echelon5 and everyone: When an FM is loading there is a progress bar but once the FM is loaded then there is still some processing which may take quite some time and it might look as if it has crashed. doom3 does not provide (far as I know) any way to show a further progress bar so we put a message like 'please wait'. So it's not usually a crash. Please erm... wait. :)
I ran into the same problem, and I'm pretty sure it crashes during the please wait screen - but looks like it's only present on the training mission. I could start the Outpost mission fine for example. So, uh, what? :)

What a wonderful news! Finally! :D
One question: should I delete/uninstall anything connected to Dark Mod (like Saint Lucia) before I install DM 1.0?

The please wait message can last quite a while.

I don't think you have to, but when you see the TDM 1.0, I think you'll want to anyway, this is quite an upgrade. Plus, there is a Saint Lucia Redux in the works.

bukary: no it creates a new subdirectory 'darkmod'. Perhaps if you later on decide to download some fan-mission that is also called 'saintlucia' then you may want to remove one of the earlier folders, but the TDM missions have different names. Downloading :bored: :)
