I have Doom3 on my big PC that I never connect to the net for sec reasons.
Internet is handled by a weak atom driven linux surfbox.
So I cannot download with your TDM updater - I would prefer some kind of a more usual
download.
While I understand your updater is in place to handle the first storm of traffic, I would like to ask if there may be a more direct/usual way of download in a couple of days ?

On one hand, this sounds exciting. On the other hand, I have no idea what to do with it. Is there anything for me to play? Or can I only try to make my own missions? Does it come with a tutorial? Sample missions?

My bad. I have visited the TDM site before today, and it didn't really indicate what to expect with the release. But yeah, I just now looked at the updated site and read the details. I'm slow, I know. At least I here now.

Wish my computer was good enough to run Doom 3 properly. Or even Thief 3 properly, the game I bought this thing to play.
Maybe I should try Doom 3 again. Just because it didn't work properly on my computer five years ago doesn't mean it won't work now, does it!

Anyone has a list of the files and their sizes? Just so I know what to expect. I'm currently at the tdm_models2.pk4 and it's taking ages to download. Any other large file like that?
