Do you think I really give a rats about the people with no sense of humour who did not have a bit of a laugh...
I know it is hard, but laugh once in a awhile, you will be amazed at what it will achieve.. It is like death warmed up in here... This is the official site here -->> (
http://www.thedarkmod.com/) If you want all the up to date info then it should be posted there, not in a forum dedicated to looking glass studios...

Ffs just shut up. You made a joke, some people didn't like it, that's life, get over it all of you.

So, you're the spokesperson for TTLG now too? This is our thread here, and TTLG is our second home.
We get that you
think you made a pretty funny joke, but it's the same tired old joke everyone makes about stuff like this. So in reality, it wasn't funny 5 years ago and it's still not funny today. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that people actually thought, hey...maybe this is a real team member. So yes, we get it's a joke, but some just didn't find it particularly funny. Considering the mod has been five years in the making...everyone is more than a little tired and a little worn out...both the team and the folks waiting. That's life, our jokes aren't always funny, get over it and try again! You never know, maybe the next one will be a real knee slapper. ;)

I thought it was funny , but I was raised on my Dad's dry humor ;)
but seriously, people might as well just sit back and wait for a bit because it's going to probably be a while yet, there's quite a bit to iron out

Take a deep breath. Hold it.... Ok, let it out. Feel better?
Now, back to some more teaser images. Here's a shot from a WIP map by Goldcochobo. It won't be one of the three released with the mod, but is an example of maps that are being worked on as we speak.

Now that's impressive, and certainly more so than forum bickering! Cool pictures ( the file is number 5 in a 6-part series ), and nice to see how TDM looks at a lower ambient light level than previous previews.

This might be amusing. Until recently we had an issue with AI becoming overly alert when seeing an arrow fly by. Mortem Desino shot this video in a WIP tavern he is creating.

It's actually a very good example of how you can use our (relatively) new sitting behaviour to create a pretty believable tavern environment.

I like how the light gem is understated and not distracting. Where is the health bar?
