Damn I forgot to put that in. Is that your subjective effective opinion on that? Jealous? :p ;-)

codereader: Well, there are results of my recompression experiment ("Tears of Saint Lucia"):
Original PK4 size in total - 15 368 983 bytes, recompressed - 13 307 920 bytes.
As we can see, 7-Zip's Ultra-Zip compression have made 13.4% of PK4 size reduction. Not bad, I think :).

I got similar results yesterday. Let's see if we can make any use of it, as the packaging process is automatically done via Perl.

I would think a script could make use of 7Zip to compress, it supports cmdline params I think.

Yes, I already have such a script in place. The results are not as good as with Saint Lucia but at least I could shave off one or two percent. Oh well.

I have a feeling good news is just around the corner..

Some corner! :cheeky:
Just out of curiosity and to take your mind off the tension, here's a question you can discuss.
If when finishing an FM you could get a stealth score to measure how stealthy you were, what factors would you take into account and how many penalty points for each factor?

Well, i guess the way would be to start off at 100 and mark down. As for figures, well here are some I just plucked out of the ether.
ko's -3
kills -10
time taken -depends on map, under a specified time, no penalty, for every 5 mins after that minus 1 point.
minor alerts -3 (when ai leaves position, scouts around, finds nothing.)
major alerts -8 (when ai chases you, sounds an alarm, finds unconcious body, etc.)
corpse found -major alert -4
damage taken -1 every 10 points
So a player that knocks out 2 ppl, one minor alert, gets a rating of 91.
Someone who knocks out 4 people, kills two, three minor alerts, has one dead body discovered. Takes 20 mins too long. Takes 50 damage, would get a rating of 38.
A player that gets 2 minor alerts, kills 4 guards, three bodies discovered, 30 dmg taken. Gets a rating of 15
