Well seeing as it is a topic about an object only found during the later game as the title suggests then I'd presume someone reading this would have already got to that point. But still, I'll go tag everything that might be spoiler. Sorry.

That won't matter much in this case. To people who haven't gotten far enough to know about it, it still won't mean anything. And to people who've played the TDP, they'll know what the eye is but have no idea about relevance and thus nothing will really be revealed... unless they go into the thread itself. But by reading a thread about a game they're currently playing or haven't played yet refering to something they don't have any idea about, they're already opening themselves up to spoilers galore.

That's pretty much my point. This forum is expected to be chock full of spoilers. If you come here you should either have completed the game or expect to be spoiled.

No, you dont suck at all! Hmm, just go around everwhere in the area and press EVERY button you see, and every button you dont ;)
Hmm, if I can get through Gamall's lair quickly enough then I might be able to actually get to that part and tell you the exact switches. Though it might take a while, I havent played Thief properly in a while (the cradle a couple of times to show my friends doesnt really count seeing as there arent really many enemies.
