"At last, the Curator's Office. On the table, take the three bottles of fine wine and the silver goblet, and above it take the large fine portrait. In the southwest corner is a fine portrait. On the desk, take the silver candlestick, diamond goblet, and loose pile of silver coins (total: 100%). Read the notes on the table. Play the viktrola in the corner. Open the north door to get to the balcony. Throw the switch on the railing. Run back down to one of the two railings overlooking the Main Atrium. They have the small plaques identifying what's coming your way. When the statue's arm brings it close enough, grab The Eye. Run all the way back to where you started at the front of the museum. Upon arriving back at the tunnel, climb up and out to the streets."
Thats what Garrett's Notebook says. However, I'll try to make it as quickly as I can through Gamall's lair this Saturday so I can play through the museum.

Yeah, a spinning statue(sort of like Statue of Liberty:) ) will rise, and in her wand is the eye, you can stand at a balcony and take it.
Cardel on 24/6/2006 at 09:48
yes, now i've played it through, the lever in the curators office will both make the statue rise and spin. To get it you have to stand on the balcony as the statue spins towards you. If you havent found the lever, then look through everywhere you can in the curators office.
Maybe theres a door you can go through
I've already done that, but the statue isn't spinning. I said that was the original problem. There must be a bug...?
Cardel on 25/6/2006 at 16:45
Hmm, the statue aint spinning... then yes, I think this might be a bug. As I recall, however, the statue comes up and is at its closest to one of the balconies, or at least it was for me. Is there any way to reach it from where you are?
Darkapathy on 25/6/2006 at 17:42
No. I think I'm gonna have to jump, I hope I survive at least
Cardel on 26/6/2006 at 16:11
I think you should survive, though be sure to have full health before you attempt the jump.
Palantir on 27/6/2006 at 13:25
Yeah, and there's something strange about the jumping...
Last time in the hammer's clock, I jumped to get those gems, I tried many times, and once it killed me, while at another attempt I lost only two HP. :weird:
