The high-class house of uncertain virtue strikes me as particularly appealing :ebil:
Are we still talking Thief here? ;) Anyway, it was done in T2X so I'm not too keen on that one.

And Crispy, I think your editing skills are good, when i think back to the screens I saw. This project shall not force anyone to something. There can always be something that cuts your time so that you cannot work that much for the project anymore. I don't no neither how much time I will have in the next half year, because I am in my last year of school and there will be probably a lot to learn. So just jump in and we'll see what we can do!
Thanks, I appreciate it. :) Mainly I'm hesitant because I'm starting university this year, and first year university is infamous for being tough at the place I'm going to... they want people to quit early rather than later I guess.

But if you say that you are a tallented writer, you could have a look at my FM's texts when they are finished, coz i am a rather b@d writ0r... :)
Sure! Just send me a PM if you want me to help you out with any writing-related stuff.
I really like the five-mission campaign on the backpack... that was Rantako, right? Or did Rantako write the background and STiFU wrote the five-mission outline? It's a bit hard to figure out who wrote what... I vote we all sign everything on the backpack with our names. :)
(It did take me a while to find that page though - for anyone else who's a bit lost, click the "Story/Mission Concepts" link on the right.)
Anyway, there are lots of great ideas here. It's a pity we can't use them all - well, not unless we make a 20-mission campaign :cheeky:. I have some thoughts about the 5-mission outline that I'll add to the backpack. Anyone who wants to get involved, do check it out, because otherwise you're missing out on half the discussion. :)
Edit: Nearly forgot - I vote NH sends at least one T3EnhancEd DVD to somebody who can put up a BitTorrent tracker so that those of us who are able can download it. :)

Really don't mind sending out 4 of them, at least that way several people can get started with it right away. :)

Edit: I didn't realise how long the stuff I put on the backpack was :erg: is there any way to change the text size?
Ctrl+
mousewheelThat or being a fierce editor. There's a spare writeboard if you need.

I can definitely help out with basic level design and developing/editing plot(s).
Also I have about 150GB of bandwidth per month I'm not using, I could easily put up a DVD image + a torrent.

Cool. :) I'm just wrapping up a few loose ends on the Enhanced Editor installer.
@Scott: Going to be a slight delay getting it to you, won't be sending it tomorrow, but I'll let you know as soon as the installer is doing what it should.

If it's okay with the team, I'll donate any TDM textures I make from here on out...though someone else will have to make them T3 ready.

Not sure if I should say this, but I think that whatever ends up being done uses as little new content as possible.
If we're trying to help the community to grow by showing what's possible we ought to show them what they can do out the box. That and it'd take less time if there's fewer custom resources needed to be sorted out, which give how long we've had with what came with the game and how little has come out is something to think about.
By the same token I'm a bit worried about the use of the alternate editor or "realist project", but I'd be pretty much only on the art side of things so that's less of an issue I'd hope. I'm also probably a rare voice of dissent on that.

If TDM resources are donated then they will become available to the whole community, not just the project (I assume).
In effect people will still be able to create stuff "out of the box", it's just that the box will be bigger.

Assuming you get the bigger editor box with all the custom stuff in it.
Which from last report was something like 740Mb with just the rearranged TDS stuff in it. No Realist, No DarkMod.
I mean I suppose if you're burning and sending DVDs anyway it may as well use more of the space, but I'm fine with my 300Mb editor, and frankly haven't really needed the OMs in that anyway.
More importantly though, I was assuming it was supposed to be project to attract new people to what was there.
If we're just showing off how much we've learnt and can now do that's less of an issue anyway. :D
