I'm not sure! Depends if i add new areas or not. My time has been consumed by the Internet and i haven't done anything lately! :o I don't want to rush it, if it takes a couple more months to make it better, then let it be so. I'll be making some new textures shortly and maybe a few more models. Right now, i'm playing through "A Night in Rocksbourgh (Discovery)
Oh, what's "Odd" with the FM? Is it the way you complete the objectives or is it just all the new objects like the Trains/Balloons/Plane? I'm curious!
Nobody knows this but this FM is based on someone's dream, hence all the strange new things like ToxicMan! The planet revolving above the City is not the Moon, but Crideon, a planet that i thought up years ago, in the old Amiga days, for a game that i made.
The bed in the Hotel room, had the dude that was having the dream, but he since got removed. The Good Samaritan is the sort of FM that i like making. I'd like to make the FM to end all FM's but i haven't seen it yet, so i can't make it, you know, from a dream or something! Oh yeah, 'tis i that's odd!

:laff: soooooooo it is playable. Mabey I will try it as is. I really never got beyond the first scene then I saw pepole had problems so I did not want to invest a bunch of time in something I cant finish. If v1 is playable I may dabbel in it. Odd is a Thief shopping cart , or neon signs in the thief world. I guess I havent seen nothing yet. :weird:

As far as i know, you should be able to complete it. There hasn't been enough interest in this so i don't know if everyone who's played it, has been able to finish it.

Things are going very well at the moment. I've been adding some new textures, and making tweaks hither and dither. There's a new starting position on "Expert" difficulty. Everything's working very well and the framerate's gone up too. You now know when a quest has been completed. I'll keep you informed.

Check northeast's post on page 3 if you can't wait for the new version. :D
You'll find a link to it there.

I can compare the waiting of the re-release like fans waiting for HL2. :D:thumb:

Help!
I literally can't even get started... I don't have a clue what to do.
I start in a big pipe with Garrett saying I have to find another way. There is an outside room with a stationary, spinny Thief, a Keeper, and a guy tending a fire.
There is water, there's a hotel or somesuch with an Enter sign.
I can climb out by the crate inside a cage and flip off the light. I can pick the crate open, but it's empty.
I can dart across and enter the Enter sign -- though the Keeper usually alerts -- but inside, all I can find is a potted plant. There's a locked door I can't open, a book underneath it that doesn't frob, a lamp I can turn off, and an Exit.
On the other side of the Thief is Sluggs' carriage factory. No joy there; I can't see anything to do.
From the area of the crate, I can shoot my lone vine arrow into a wooden signpole sticking out above a broken window; I can see a key in there, but I can't get close enough to frob it... probably because I'm shooting from the side, so the arrow is sticking out and keeping me too far away from the key. I tried shooting it from over by the display carriage, but I couldn't make the shot. In any case, I read here that the key doesn't open the locked door in the hotel, which is the only door I've found.
Around the side of the factory seems to be just a dead end.
And that's it. I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to do. I don't see any gratings, ladders, sewers, "hopping bunny" guards, haunts, gondolas, masks, voodoo signs, patridges, or pear trees.
Can someone please get me pointed in the right direction? What is the first thing I should do?
Again, H-E-L-P!!
Thanks,
Dafydd
