It's a fairly cliched ~~game~~ God of War clone that's actually far better than it has any right to be. You play a burly manly macho man who has the double duty of rescuing his girlfriend from an evil cartoon villain and making a farce of Ancient American cultures at the same time. As a third person spectacle fighter, it doesn't really do anything remarkable, but what it does it does well and it at least tries to mix things up a little just as you're getting bored. Marlow Briggs is basically God of War done as a campy B-movie on a tiny budget with a ridiculous sense of humour. It's pretty fucking great.

Yeah, I can see that. It definitely has a degree of self-awareness that camp requires, although it kind of borders on kitsch a lot of the time.
