You change the parameters of the vision of the guards in missions?
I have some blind fellows like (you must go a bit closer and then he only start to search not attack) :

I do not know if I'm doing something wrong, or the original parameters are so weak. How to best adjust vision ? Vision description under AI Core is a bit complicated and time-consuming.

You changed this in your missions Lady Rowena ?

It is worthy to note that in the vast majority of cases, the default vision parameters are just fine. Over-customization of AI's vision will most likely negatively impact gameplay, not to mention causing you, the builder, lots of headaches and much time spent on testing.
The default vision parameters are just fine in the vast majority of cases. If you're going to tweak an AI's vision, you will of necessity be forced to do alot of play-testing to get it "just right". My recommendation is to only modify an AI's vision under specific necessary circumstances (such as mentioned earlier regarding a "tower bowman" watching the street below).
So why my guys are so freaking blind in simple situation ? Those original vision settings is only for tight spaces with a strong light ?

Your AI should have vision exactly like in the OMs and most other FMs, since very few people ever change the vision parameters. If they don't, then you should make sure the ones on the AI archetypes haven't been modified somehow in your gamesys.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. I thought that you 'wanted' to change the standard vision parameters for a particular need.
Yandros is right, there is no reason to change them in a normal situation. Maybe the AIs don't see you because you are almost in the dark?
To answer your question, if I remember well I modified the vision of the female pagan archers, in order to make them see below the tree platform in Night Three (Seven Sisters campaign).
Now that I think about it, I also have an archer who doesn's see me even if I am in full light. It takes some seconds to realize that I am here. Unfortunately it's enough for me to easily blackjack him. I still don't know why it happens. I didn't modify anything this time.

It's possible in that situation the light is too close to the ground and doesn't light as properly as it should.
Also under AI-->Attributes-->Vision you can easily increase the vision potential of your guards. Not sure how effective it is.
