Does anyone know if there is a way of getting rid of the health bar in thief 1 and 2? I have just started playing them again after a long time and the health bar seems to at random times light up so the white is almost glowing, which basicly blinds me in the darkness.

Any help would be appreciated!

you can find custom health bars which you could use as well - look in the Useful Resources stickied thread in The Editor's Guild.

Alternatively, you could simply paint the shield graphic plain black or something. Open obj.crf in a zip program like WinRar, go to the txt16 folder (or possibly txt) and look for shield.gif

If you change the colours and save it in Thief 2 directory/obj/txt16 it'll replace the original graphic. :)
