* Crayon Physics: interesting concept. Some enjoyable puzzles but overall it felt not dissimilar to other 2d psychics games that I have played, only in cartoon graphics.
* VVVVVV: gravity switching not enough to maintain my interest in something from another era.
* Hammerfight: enjoyable to a point but after a while began to feel like a one trick pony.
* And Yet it Moves: VVVVVV with a few more options and better graphics.
* Steel Storm: this is a very addictive game and more towards the quality level of other games in previous indie packs. I'm really enjoying this so far/
* Atom Zombie Smasher: lipstick on a pig. I love the "cutscenes" in between levels but the actual levels themselves are derivative of some Java applet games released a decade ago.
* Revenge of the Titans: so-so
My review of your reviews is that you are terrible at reviews

VVVVVV's soundtrack is a complete joy

I bought VVVVVV a while back, and thought it was absolutely superb. To my mind, it's the star of the show in this bundle.
I guess you would have given it a good crack, given its reputation, so it's probably just not for you. That's a shame, though; I had a huge amount of fun playing that game.

Are there any first-person games being offered here?

You probably know that already, but no.

Why the fuck are you even asking this question?

Sadly, first-person games are generally a lot harder to make than third-person games, ergo there are few indie first-person games.

lost_soul: The games are all DRM-free and Linux-compatible. Are you saying that you passed? You continue to surprise and confuse.

Yeah but some of them were made this decade.

Trauma has been added to the Frozen Synapse Humble Indie Bundle. So if you've desired to play a pseudo-intellectual version of Myst, there ya go.
