I'd say you should play Aquaria as it's fucking fantastic and easily the only reason to get the bundle, but you'd probably dismiss it as non-GPL consolitis garbage like the retard you are so what's the point?
Hate to break up your tirade, Deth, but I think the Aquaria engine was GPLed around the time of the first indie bundle.
Just sayin is all.
edit: hey, quick question for all you people. I already own a couple of the games from this new bundle. If I redeem them on steam, do I get to gift the copies of the games I already have? I didn't see any FAQ lying around, so I'm asking here.

Renzatic: I don't know for sure (and am therefore most likely only telling you things you already know), but it seems highly unlikely that Steam will let you gift a game you already have -- they virtually never permit that. Buy something twice on Steam, and you'll almost never see the second copy.
lost_soul: Well sure, there's no FPS in this bundle, but it beats me why any gamer would turn down the HIB. Why not throw in a bit of money, assign it to the charities, and find out if any of the games surprise you?
Wost case scenario: You feel good about supporting a charitable cause.

Unfortunately, gift copies for already purchased products have happened only for holiday sales, valve game bundles and other developers' 4-packs, so the answer is no.

I started playing Aquaria on my mum's iMac today, since I'm currently up in Auckland visiting my family for the holidays. Terrific game all around!

I know that this is beside the point, but FYI:-

Okay well i just got this :) Some of the games look interesting - machinarium, cortex command from a quick glance at the trailer and even if i don't get round to playing them soon, i will eventually and it helps to support independent developers which is nice.
If you can give the games to other people, if anyone wants penumbra overture from me then feel free (not really sure how it works) as i have that already from when frictional did the penumbra gamersgate thing.
What's with the onlive, steam and desura key things? i didn't really understand about that. Cos i mean you can download the games drm free as they are.
Wonder if any of the different payment methods are different in their conversion between other currencies (for me £s) and $s. i shall await to see how it works out. Amazon payment was easy though :)

Technically you can, since they're DRM free, but it would be entirely illegal. You alone hold the licenses to every game in the Bundle. If you want to give the games to other people, then you have to buy an entirely new set of license keys using the Gift option.

Just alternative methods to download your games, that is all. Feel free to ignore them. Using either activation key won't rob you of access to the DRM free versions. Humble Indie Inc. have said that they'll keep offering people their purchased DRM free copies as long as they're alive.

Blah. Kinda sucks.
If I'm able, what I could do is not activate the games I already own on Steam, then give away the keycodes to someone who doesn't already have them.
So if this is possible...who wants Braid and Machinarium?
Briareos H on 24/12/2010 at 09:00
Unfortunately the steam redeem codes are for whole packs and not individual games : (
Renzatic on 24/12/2010 at 09:13
Doesn't matter. I've already downloaded the DRM free executables AND enabled them on Steam. I can still gift away a single copy of the two games I already own. After I do that, I'll delete them from the drive and only grab the steam copies from here on out.
Honor system all up ins. No piracy. Who wants em?
