The loadout screen?

I think that comment about the weapons store was there just to explain all of the cool new arrows, etc. I admit, it's a little confusing at first -- I wondered the same thing myself -- but I finally resigned myself to not breaking into a weapons shop by the third playthrough.

Help!

Spoiler:
where is the exact location of the 'church key'in the factory

I have tried to be as exact as I could in this description, so I hope it's good enough to help you:

Spoiler:
Get to the two-level room with catwalks above and a ladder leading down to the lower level with the 2 zombies and the 2 chests. Go through this room (on the catwalk level) into the room with the concrete path leading through the middle and the one zombie lying on the right. Through the door, then take the first door on your left and take the stairs as far down as you can. This will take you to a room with the door ripped off; it contains a desk with coins and a document and a box. Pick the lock on the box; the key is inside.

I hope this isn't too confusing.

Thanks
I actually made it to the place you described but failed to ...

Spoiler:
use the picks on the box properly

I have to say I’m more than a bit rusty when it comes to Thief. The Inverted Manse is the first mod I’ve ever played and it’s the first time I’ve played any Thief for about 18 months - and there’s a few things I’ve forgotten. But I’m working my way back up the learning curve - and Inverted Manse forces you up that curve pretty damned fast. I should have picked a simpler one.
Great level though.

Heh, don't feel bad--speaking of lockpicks, when I first started playing Thief I didn't know how to use them, and I thought you had to repeatedly click instead of just holding the button down! After about my third door and my 9,000th click, I was ready to get physical therapy for my poor hand. Did I ever feel like a doofus when I found out you could just hold down the button...

Just had to get it off my chest that i downloaded and played this FM to the end.. and IMHO it in no way deserves a gold hammer or anything above 7, although I am not a reviewer. Seeing all the positive feedback, i thought it was good, I was only disappointed. There were just a lot of undead who posed no threat with that sword, and no sneaking, not much in the way of secrets, and a pretty unoriginal storyline.. (Ive seen it done a couple of times before). So whats up, is it just me or what ? I dont ENJOY putting peoples hard work down, but I had to say this simply because my views are so different than to any other I have seen regarding this FM. Oh, and the layout was confusing, pointlssly so.
/cringes from the hate i am about to recieve

Bear in mind that forum threads are a bit like self-selection surveys/response mechanisms: people are more likely to post positive thoughts/feedback than negative feedback.

Why, aren't forums all about opinions?
