Cool. I was too fast to ask for help <IMG SRC="angel.gif" border="0"> <BLOCKQUOTE><FONT size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><DIV STYLE="background-color:#000080"><FONT color="#000080"> You need to fill the vial with unholy water from the fountain close to the library to neutralize the stones.</FONT></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE>
Great, two "walkers" comes to my rescue. Thanx for the help though :)
I just started this "gold hammer" FM on Warrior. Again, SLEDGE you are a master <IMG SRC="thumb.gif" border="0">

I found the letter that mentioned the combination was changed and that certain letters were not used, but still cannot figure it out. Any hints on where to find this info?
Thanks alot for any help.

You have to play all 3 difficulty levels, unless you're really clever. There are 2 different clues on each one that make it easier to solve. If you're really stumped, e-mail me and I'll send it to you. Sledge asked that no-one post it on the forums. :)

Thanks for the help. Well you bring out my first and only complaint about this mission. I jumped straight to the most difficult level not knowing the differences in the others. I wish I had known that so I could have started in the right order.
O.K. maybe complaint is too strong of a word since I am looking forward to playing it again :) , but some mention of this would have been nice.
Thanks for the help.
And thank you, Sledge for this awesome level(s).

I completed the mission on the easier level, but now I am trying to replay it and make sure I have everything but I still don't understand how to get into the locked vaults? There is the underwater vault and then there is one right in the begining which has a slate with the alphabet on it? Does anyone have any clue? <img src="mad.gif" border="0"> <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">
Hit Deity on 19/1/2002 at 03:53
The big vault is probably NOT going to be accessible to you until you go through at least two difficulty levels. Each level has clues in it, and I didn't figure it out until I had finished two difficulties.
As a reminder, Sledge asked that no one post the answer to the riddle here on the forums. Someone could email it to you, but I won't until you've at least tried to figure it out yourself or you really beg alot. <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> (You'll smack yourself on the head when you finally get it, so try to discover it on your own.)
I don't remember an underwater vault, but it has been a long time since I've played this great FM.
If you could post more details (and put them in spoiler tags if they're too revealing to the gameplay) I might be able to help......
or you could just wait until Nightwalker came along; she can read minds and has a photographic memory when it comes to most of the FMs.....either that, or she's actually a supercomputer in TTLG's basement. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Hi, guys! Supercomputer, bosh! I'll remember that the next time I find myself standing in the kitchen, scratching my head, trying to figure out what the heck I was supposed to be doing! <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">
As for the underwater vault, the only thing I can think of that you might be referring to is a vault door just outside the entrance to the factory, underwater. Is that it? If so, that's no great mystery. It's an alternate entrance on Cutpurse, to make things a little easier. I don't believe you can open it on the other difficulty levels, as far as I recall.
The other vault, as Hit Deity said, requires you to play at least two, or possibly all three, difficulties to collect enough clues to figure out the combination. If you get fed up with trying, feel free to e-mail me for it, but I won't post it on the forum, as per Sledge's request.

I liked the mission and rated it a 9 which is very good. But that vault pisses me off. I really don't like HAVING to play the mission more than once just to be able to get the code - that's not cool in my book. It might be okay if there were different clues at different difficulties, but it should at least be POSSIBLE on just any ONE of them to figure it out without complete guessing.
(/rant) The mission's great, and I need to play it again soon <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Ok, that's fine but now there is another riddle I discovered recently that I cannot understand. In the begining of the factory there is a room with steam coming from the pipes which you need to turn off, in that room hangs a banner which I cannot cut down and there is a door behind that banner to which I cannot get to as a result? Anyone know the answer to that?
