Does finding the ballistic missiles automatically replace any explosive arrows in your inventory? Even after I used up all of the new weapon, the explosive arrows didn't reappear in the lineup.

Actually, it converts all your explosive head arrows into ballistic missiles.

I decided to test it with and without having explosive arrows in my inventory and the final total is always 10. In fact, just opening the cabinet makes the explosive arrows disappear. Guess I'll have to use up the arrows before going for the secret stash.

is there a sequal already made? is there one in the works? the endmovie kinda hinted at it, and i was wondering if anything came (or is coming) of it?
wonderful level, by the way. i'm moving on to other missions right now, but i'll probably go back and try the other difficulties sometime.
edit: oh, and many thanks to Furens. i smacked my head hard when i read your hint, but at least i beat it. thanks!

I doubt if we'll see a sequel. Sledge was hired to work on Thief 3 and I think he's working on one of the mission packs in production, though I'm not sure about that. It's a terrific mission, though, isn't it? :)

He's on T2x with the rest of us bums. But Inverted Manse 2: Spirit Stone Boogaloo, or something, will hopefully appear as a thief 3 mission. if not I plan to prod him a lot with something sharp (how sharp will not be a matter of public record).

Well, after completing The Inverted Manse on Warrior and (what's the easy one called again?) I'd like to offer my opinion of the most frightening section of the game.
It's on easy when the four hammerite ghosts first appear and a fifth one comes running at you waving his hammer - still gets me

I loved this one on Warrior - I have no idea how long I spent watching the headless undead swordsman and trying to decide how to face it, whether it was a haunt or a zombie (the answer being a resounding 'No')

This mission scared the crap out of me.
I decided to play this late one night with headphones on and the all of the lights in the house turned off. At one point, I was sneaking around the area that has the steam vent in "Warrior", and I opened a metal door to find three zombies staring me right in the face.
Just as they charged forward to tear my face off, my little gray kitty decided that right then was an excellent time to jump on daddy's lap.
My yell woke up the neighbor.
Sledge is getting the bill from my therapist and my cat's therapist as well.

I love those zombies!
Alert them, run away, turn on the steam vent and watch them fry as they try to reach you
Pretty good mission. What is it that you find in the vault at the beginning? I played on warrior. The review/previews said it was gonna be scary as hell. It was but nothing I couldn't handle. Ended up killing almost everything that sword is awesome. Did the optional quest was fun.
