Go out the doors and look around.
It's not all that difficult.

If you go out the small factory door, then walk across the bridge and go straight west, you come to a courtyard with the big front factory doors on the left. There are 2 zombies patrolling through here and a bunch of dead bodies (which include a couple of zombies that will wake up if you get too close). Go south through an archway and then you can get into the church two ways from that point.
If you go left through the door, then through the next courtyard, into a tunnel with a big green spider and keep going to the courtyard at the far end, the church door is on the right (W) side of the next courtyard.
If, instead of going through that door, you turn right, you go through a small courtyard, turn left (S) and follow the tunnel to the next courtyard, the first door on the left opens into the church. This way in is harder, because there is a haunt standing at the bottom of the stairs inside the door. You can sneak past him, but it takes a bit of patience.
You probably have already been in the church, because I think that's where you get the Factory Key on Cutpurse, but you need to go back afterwards with the Church key so you can get into a room up on the top floor.

The factory key is found inside the factory, not in the church (whee I corrected Nightwalker). The church key also opens the morgue in the basement of the church, but it's not absolutely nessecary to go there (it's fun though).

I'll be the first to admit that I'm more than a little foggy on some of the details in this mission. It's on my list of FMs that I need to replay, but first I have to find time! Thanks for the correction.

Cheers guys. Will try to play some more of the FM tonight.

Since you can't post the answer, maybe someone can tell me how important it is to get whatever's in that vault. I mean are there weapons in there that will make playing the mission easier and more fun? I can see that this is a difficult mission with the type of opponents you have to face, so that's why I want to know. On the other hand, if the mission was designed with the idea in mind that you wouldn't be able to open that vault until you've played the mission on at least 2 difficulty levels, I get the idea that there aren't any great weapons in there. So somebody please tell me that, are there great weapons to use against the undead in there? If not please give me a hint as to what is in there. Lastly, I'd also really appreciate it if someone could give me some clues to figuring the code out? I'm new to the FM and I don't know if I'm going to want to play this one over again, there are so many others I'm eager to play too. So, I'm not yet asking for the code, but I would like to know what I have asked for.

LOL! There are somethings in the Vault that can be quite useful at longrange but not closeup . You don't NEED it, but it can be fun to have. If you want the code, just send me an e-mail or PM. :)

Useful is an understatement here, what you find there makes the mission a lot less difficult. I now prefer not to use them, but for the first few times they're good fun.

Thank you to both of you. I emailed Nightwalker and now have the code. I haven't gone back to the mission yet, but when I do I guess I'm going to use it. I kind of feel guilty about this, but then I remind myself that I play these games for fun. Not for too much frustration from problems that can't be solved. (I have enough of them in real life)
What I'll wind up doing, is once I have the vault open and see what's in it, if I think using it is too much of a cheat and making the mission not be the kind of fun I want, I won't use it. I like being superman but NOT using my super powers, if you get my drift.
(Btw, I was trying to guess that code from a hint I read in a past post. I would have never guessed that, I wasn't even close)

I found the OTHER special item in this mission to be well balanced and quite useful. :sly:
