I feel nitpickish today :p
The arrows in the windmill are a few rope and razorheads, not broadheads.
I typed up this reply last night but TTLG went offline for database maintenance before I could post. Now the message has been superseded by others but I'm posting it anyway. :p Quote:
Originally posted by BadArm I keep forgetting to ask this, but does that Red Heart I have in my inventory do anything? So far I can't seem to figure it out. I forgot exactly what the heart is called.
That's the Spirit Stone and it's the primary objective from "The Cult of the Resurrection," the first of Sledge's FM series of which "Inverted Manse" is the second. "COR" is a Thief 1 FM and "IM" is for Thief 2." I believe Sledge is currently working for ION Storm on Thief 3 so with his on the job training, maybe the third installment will be the very first T3 FM. :D
I don't know why Garrett is carrying the stone because I don't think he uses it for anything in this mission. Maybe he thinks it's safest with him.

Originally posted by BadArm Since you remember there being supplies to find I think I'll start using some holy water arrows to get rid of the Haunts. Those guys always did bug me, even back in T1. I think the only thing I hate worse are spiders, I hope there's not too many more of them around. Well, back to the game. Well, I wouldn't say there's an excessive outlay of supplies in the mission; I just remember having a comfortable amount throughout as opposed to my recent Expert replay of "Return to the Cathedral" in which I ended the mission with just my sword, my blackjack, and a single broadhead left over. Keep practicing your sneaking up/backstabbing technique and you'll be fine. Also, if you're not too far into the mission, you could restart using the cash cheat to buy more equipment.

Zapman, I went and checked. You are correct and my notes were wrong! I'll fix them. :)

I've found the church key, but I'm still roaming around in the factory. I didn't go back to where the morgue is yet. I'm trying to complete the "find out what happened in the last days of the factory" objective.
Zapman you got me a little worried here. There's a room down here in the factory that I can't get the door open, not even with the church key. Is that a room I'm supposed to be able to get into? It's not the room with the diary of the last survivor, is it? I'm not entirely sure where the chapel is? How do I get into that room?
Nightwalker, I haven't gone to look for the acid bombs yet, I hope I find them when I do. I'm running out of supplies quickly here, so I hope I find some more soon, especially Holy Water, Explosive and Wind Arrows. Btw, what are the acid bombs used best on? Whatever happened to the healing potions that are supposed to restore you to full health? I've only found 1 healing potion so far, and it looks like the regular ones. I'm starting to get the hang of backstabbing the Haunts with the glowing sword. But I'm sure grateful for the quicksave and quickload features.
What I need to know now is if the room with the diary is in the factory area? If it's not, I think I'm done down here.

You really need to head for the Church now. It sounds like you've done all you can in there for now. The information about what happened in the last days of the factory is found in the church, not in the factory itself. After you've been into the locked rooms in the church, you'll find the Factory Basement Key, which will unlock the locked door in the Factory that leads to the lower levels, where you'll find the Manse.
There aren't any "super healing potions" in this mission, at least not that I can remember. There also aren't too many regular ones, so you want to be careful and not take too much damage. Acid bombs work on the undead sort of like holy water arrows or flashbombs. It takes a couple to destroy them.

Thank You Nightwalker,
I have left the factory and went up to the church. I found the diary from the last survivor and that objective was ticked off. I also found the key and surmised that I have to go back to the factory. I guess it's through the factory that I will now progress. I must admit that dealing with the Haunts is a whole lot easier with the Gauntlet. This mission is finally starting to come together and make sense to me. But I couldn't have done it without the help of the people on this board, so once again thank you.
As for those super healing potions. I thought that when I was reading the readme file that explains the different arrows in this mission, that the author also said that the healing potions were different too in that they gave you full health. But I must have misunderstood him. It really doesn't matter much, because I do a quicksave so often that if I lose too much health I can just start again.
I'm glad to say I'm now enjoying this mission. :)

I just played through for the first time on warrior, a splendid mission! If T3 is anything like this mission I want it even more. :ebil: I did find one super healing potion:
It's in the room with the ghost who wants the guardian heads, on the shelves just as you come into the room.
First of I'd just like to say what a level it is ! Well done Sledge
The only thing I can't work out though is the 4 digit code needed to enter the weapons facility. I've tried everything I can think of and I've got the journal and the letter to Jingervon from within the cathedral which has a clue on it but still I'm stuck.
Any help would be much appreciated guys
Thanks
