As I recall, the author specifically asked that the code NOT be posted on the forums. There's a clue in each difficulty level, so you have to play all three to figure it out.

:confused: First, let me say this is a terrific FM with a complex but interesting and scary setting with fine design, storyline and architecture. Great work Sledge! :thumb:
After trying everything I can think of, I am stuck at the flowing lava river with burricks across the way (the 4th door which opened after I retreived 3 stones). On either side of me are posts with 2 buttons each. Did I miss something, as I can't go right (locked gate) or left (blocked by boulders) or straight ahead (lava)?
And, oh yes, I do need the combo to the safe. I must be lazy, or dim-witted, or both. I have found one hint and don't really want to play the other 2 levels at this point.
I am an avid player and have found very nice taffers on this forum.

To get across the lava flow, you need to [SPOILER]"use" the 3 stones you found, plus the Spirit stone on those grey buttons. [/SPOILER]

Also stuck :p KOMAG was right when he said there was a bunch of key hunting in this one :laff: .. I'm on Cutpurse difficulty but can't find the Factory Basement key as described in the forums. I've been in the Cardinal's room, obtained a scroll and diary, but nothing more. I even 'cheated' by using the flareclimbing tech. to try to reach those two doors with the broken walkway between them (alas, unfrobbable :cheeky:), all to no avail. Help?
Only two keys I have so far are the Factory and Church keys.. I get lost rather easily though, even after going through the complex several times, so perhaps I've missed something :confused: ..

This mission is only a key hunt on Cutpurse. It's quite different on the other two settings. Just to make sure we're in the same place, you're on the top level of the church, where you've gone up a small set of steps into a little chapel, then unlocked a door at the other end of the chapel with the "Church" key. Is that right? In that room, you should find a purple book (which is quite important, so don't overlook it) and the Factory Basement key, which should be sitting on a little table. :)

Hmm.. Unless I'm mistaken, it would appear the key is not where you told me.. Unless the key you're talking about is the "Factory Entrance Key" and not called "Factory Basement Key" .. But that wouldn't make sense as I already tried to use both keys (just for good measure) on the locked portcullis down in the elevator shaft :erg: I can't remember but I
think I found a key in the Cardinal's room, except it was the entrance one.. Oh Builder help me! I don't think I would've dropped it for no reason at all, so I can't imagine where it would've went to................

EDIT: Wait.. I was taffing around, just frobbing every spot imaginable, and managed to get the basement key.. Upon reloading it and looking carefully I found it floating in air almost stuck in the wall.. Very odd. Is this the usual placement of the key or was there a patch perhaps?
