reinstalled the game from darkloader and it works, though load times are long. i'm getting tired of haunts in this place.

Play at a lower resolution.
Well, that is all you're going to get here - Haunts & Zombies. Don't bother *killing* them. Take your sweet time sneaking past the undead. Rest. It's more fun that way. There're some spine-chilling moments, but don't give up.

First off I must say this FM is sweet... I’ve soiled myself about 10 times already... but I’ve also killed nearly everything in the mission. Yeah, with undead missions I tend to mascara everything in sight while attempting to ghost living missions. I guess the haunted cathedral just taught me the joys of haunt hunting ^_^ ANYWAY I’ve completed alllll of my objectives except finding what happened to the bloody factory workers! (and finishing, obviously…) I can’t find what I need for the life of me! I’ve been running around for freaking ever, I have this strange feeling that I’m missing something blatantly obvious, but I loath mazes, and have been at it for like 2 hours… Where to I go? What do I do? I’m going nuts here... I have the keys to the chapel, factory, and factory basement and am playing on the easiest setting (forget what its called, sorry…) help? *pitiful face* what am I missing??
Oh, and does anyone have any suggestions for good FMs that aren’t mazes of doom? Ok, so most of em aren’t. But it makes me sad when I download them, cuz then I want to finish it, and start going insane like I am now. GAH!

Thanks for the info! You saved me hours of running around screaming in frustration. I must have just completely missed it the first time I was there! I hate when that happens!! It makes me happy to finish... and see my end stats that say I did 74 back stabs, lol!! That has to be a record for me… I didn’t even know there were that many creatures to back stab.... Tehe, but yes, much thanks ^_^ and I shall look into these other FMs... :cheeky:

What a great FM!
I am playing on cutpurse. I am stuck in the factory. I have been to the church, have that key , have the factory key etc, but have been running about for 2 hours now trying to get to the manse.
I did a search and found this clue:
find the elevator way with no elevator and water at the bottem, jump in, climb the ladder, you can open the gate by frobbing it, go a little further and find a broken wall,
The problem is,
I cannot seem to get off the ladder and jump onto the small ledge to fob this gate. I just keep falling into the water trying to hop up.
GAHH!

There's no need to go that way. Just explore the building and keep going down. You'll find a door the Factory Basement key (Do you have that yet?) unlocks and that will get you into the area where you'll find the Manse.

Yes, I have that key. I must be missing that door. It's easy to miss places in this FM, there is so much to explore.
(Which is GREAT!)
Thanks!

Playing on middle difficulty (Rogue?) for Thief2. Cannot find the key to open the door at the bottom of the ramp where you find the haunt and the control switch to turn on the lights. This might be the church key, not sure.
This fm seems different, like it was redone from T1 version to T2, so some things look different. Only key I have is to open the factory doors. Read posts and looked all over where the posts say to go, nada/nothing.
Went into an office with a priest nailed to the ceiling with knives and found some arrows in the wood beams. Across the hallway is another room with a metal door that is stuck in the doorway and partly off its hinges. At the end of this hallway is a door that leads to stairs the pass a gigantic metal fan.
Hopefully this helps. I have been I think to everywhere except the cemetary and some other places after the tunnels. found the three doorways the have the engraved stone that has some "Pagan phrases/clues" on them. One requires stones to float upward........
If you need more to answer/help me give me a PM.
thanks a lot taffers.
