I'm playing the Pagan levels of T: DS and I found the Jacknall's Paw.
I completed the ritual and all that. There was blue flash of light above the altar and I heard the sound of roots shifting but I still can't collect the paw.I can't even highlight it. Is there something else that must be done or is this just a weird glitch?

If the paw is completely free of the tree, you need to approach it at exactly the right angle(s) to highlight it to pick it up.
Try coming from the back of the tree on the left side over the stone. You need to try crouching, leaning, and movement to and away for many of the items in the game to highlight properly.

Ah thanks, silly me I didn't shoot the tree with water and moss. But now I have a different question, I want to get friednly with the Pagans but I can't find any cornerstones. What do they look like?Can someone post a screenshot or something?Thanks

Look at the low corner of buildings. You will see a stone that looks like it has a black spider on it. They ARE NOT GREEN as the story leads you to believe.
In the courtyard of IRONWOOD before you enter the main doors, stand with your back to the doors. Look left just past the fenced planted area with the tree. At the corner where the passage continues is such a stone.
They are scattered around in the maps. In Auldale there is one near the stairs to the pawn shop across from the Inn where the guard is. Once you get the hang of it you'll easily see them.
They are always the lowest stone in a course, and as named they are on a corner.

The Paw is the only Artifact that seem doesn't have any backstory.
There is some for Chalice, Crown, Heart and Eye, but I didn't found any info about the Paw ingame. I wonder what the thing does and what or who was this Jacknall after all?

No matter what I do, I still can not finish the ritual. I used the body down under the stairs, I laid it onto the altar, stabbed it with my dagger, shot broadhead arrows in it and no result at all. I even went up and brought an unconscious body and killed it there. Nope, no progress although I can clearly see the blood on the right spot, the middle ornament.
I read the book in shaman's bedroom, I did the ritual in both the right order and out-of-order and still no result.
It works when I shoot the water arrow and moss arrow, but the body does not work. Two of the leafs protecting the paw get out of way, but the third does not. :mad:
Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong?
My version is 1.1, any patches I am missing?

Nope 1.1 is the only one.
I found that killing guards and dropping them isn't guaranteed to finish the ritual. Try knocking one of them out, placing thier body on the altar and then stabbing it. It should work.

I did that, but no difference :(. I guess I will have to download the savegame collection from the sticky thread and use that. I am not happy about it, but it seems to be the only solution. I do not want to play the entire mission again, just to see the game refuse to award this item to a hardworking thief.
