Could someone tell me how to get the fire talisman? i've already 'doused' it by hitting the 3 talismans with arrows and deactivating their lights, but am stumped how to get up there... thanks!

Great job! Hard work has paid off. I read your initial post and as you can see from my bio I've been around the forum for awhile and played most of the fan missions as well as the Thief original games. Need some help...
my last objective is to find a book in the library about the 4 talismans and spear but haven't found any book... could someone tell me where it is please?

Shadows: look on the top floor, near the Ark.
There's also another book in the assistant librarian's room - I can't recall if you need to read both for that objective to tick off.
