Already used 'em and got the fire talisman. I was just wondering if I should be searching for a way into the defective elevator -- for extra loot maybe? But since you say not, I'll go forward in the mission.
That question was an add-on to the 4 questions in the posting immediately preceding it. I need answers or hints for those ones, because I'm stuuuuuuck! :confused:

Yes, I finished the mission. What an excellent adventure it was. By the way this combination of placing the talismen worked perfectly for me. It opened all four doors and got me right inside the center structure at the end. I don't understand how it wouldn't work for everyone else unless maybe the correct scripts or something needed to loaded:
Water Talisman in 1, Fire Talisman in 2, Air Talisman in 3, and Earth Talisman in 4
sorry redleaf,
I missed that:
ok
q1 and q2 : question and anser:cheeky:
q3: yes
Q4: ok you have the fire tallisman?
so ride the elevator that you used to get it a bit more up. (the button is on top of the big pillar in the lava pit,) you will return to the area were you found the keys and the fake tallisman. there is the way out in the same corridor you came in
This mission was so good that it made my walkthrough website. I created a little walkthrough for it in case anyone wants to check it out. These help me when I replay some missions later on. Nightshifter, in case you get tired of answering questions maybe some people can get some use out of this:

nightshifter,
thankyou for your comments, they were constructive and clear. i don't know what nameless voice is like as a person and i am not judging him as a person. i don't object to nameless voice's opinion, it is the tone that he used when replying to my posts (eg; highlighting mistakes in red, taking what i wrote too literally and replying as if my opinion is totally wrong) that i believe is wrong. i might be new to all this but i don't like being patronised or my ideas being totally dismissed(does anyone?). ok, i did not realise that using an old save file might jeopardize gameplay later on so thanks for the tip. as i've said, i am not an expert and and did not intend to mislead anyone. all i know is that i could not continue playing your excellent mission unless i restarted it. well, i wanted to continue from where i left off, i was so into the game;
(i was at that bit where you find the body lying in the glass corridor, a crucial part of the mission),
so i tried something, ie; replacing my old mission file with a new one. and guess what? it worked:D! ok, it might be outside the lines a bit, but i have used it a few times already with success. i understand that my method might be an unecessary step to a computer/thief expert but for me, it helps. i was not trying to be an expert, i was only trying to be friendly in sharing my suggestions. i realise that my information was misleading but i don't agree with the view that what i am doing is completely wrong. nameless voice is entitled to his opinion, like everyone else and he can choose whether or not my advice is worth following. if it does not work for him, then fair enough. i understand now that in some cases an old save file can jeopardize future gameplay but it is not the same in all cases. i realise that i am taking a risk but surely that is my decision. my idea worked for me with 'the librarian' and other fan missions so how can it be totally wrong or incompetent:confused:? n.v has no right to dismiss it completely and people do not have to follow my suggestions and take the risk if they don't want to.
i really do not want to spend any more time on negative things and i don't think anyone else does so let's close this subject once and for all. i am nervous and new to all this and i just want to make friends:(.
to each his own, i say. let's agree to differ on this one and stay positive:angel:.
i loved your fm, it was great. i hope there is a sequel:thumb:.

Thanks Sinistershadow, but I spent 20 min looking for it and still can't find it. Can you be more specific.
