Hey,
I'm playing old T1 FM's today...I'm in this one called "Library". I'm supposed to get into a "library tower" and get the Book of Feauxton...I've cleaned out and searched the entire level except there's a large locked door behind a gate. I opened the gate, but can't find a key or switch for the door.
Anybody remember this one?

There's a gold key lying on a bed in one of the bedrooms that opens that door. The bedroom opens off of the hallway that is north of the dining room.

I gues she has an archive of Thief missions in her home  .... or at least in her mind! :wot: That's freaky! :erm: I can't do that! :eww:
So: YES Linda, you're absolutely amazing!!!:thumb:
Thanks for all the help you give to us, taffers. ..... and more!
BTW: I'm still trying to play the T1 FM's. So I don't have an answer to the original question here ..... I think Nightwalker already did that.

LOL! :cheeky: Not so amazing if you could see the pile of notebooks in my drawer and the folders full of notes and a huge Allsaves folder on my computer. Besides, I find it easier to remember the really old missions. They weren't as complex or long as the newer ones so I generally had time to play them quite a few times before something new came out.

I can't complete the loot goal of 800 even with the hints from this threas. Is there a loot list somewhere?
Nightwalker on 11/1/2008 at 19:19
It would be awfully hard to compile a loot list for this mission as the library rooms are pretty much a maze with no way to tell them apart. I'm afraid you just have to search every nook and cranny to find enough. I have a really crappy old walkthrough that lists it all, but even it is not specific about exactly what rooms loot is in in some instances. If you want a copy of it, email me and I'll send it to you.

I solved it by randomly right-clicking on furniture. Turns it there was a practically invisible necklace on a shelf in one of the bedrooms.

A nice small mission. Found all
925 loot in just over an hour.
I experienced it's pretty much ghostable except for the chapel area.
The tower is the most interesting to explore, and reminds me of (
