detholl, I know this is a rough time for you and everything because megathreads are sort of your thing--you did create your share, after all--but your rant misses the mark because (1) you incorrectly assume a lessened post count somehow renders us ignorant as the the goings on in these fora--it is possible to read and not post, you know--and (2) you fixate on the megathreads complaint despite the fact that nobody has yet suggested that megathreads are mostly responsible for the recent TTLG decline.

I've just realised why I don't post as much any more. It's because when there is a discussion thread I often don't read it all, on account of the walls of text. tldr I'm afraid.

That's a step up from posting despite never having read.
I also don't get why this thread is stickied, but if our new overladies are pleased with it so am I.
