[SPOILER]Once in the Tree Beast area, I was trying to lure them to the rock opening (which they couldn't fit through to chase me) , and I would swing my sword and then back up,swing, backup...etc. attempting to hit them without being hit myself..... Well it didn't work and I suffered a devastating blow, took all of my health points and Garrett gave his usual Pre-Death yell...... but he wasn't dead. I was still able to run around and now I could fight the tree beasts toe to toe, they could hit me all they wanted and it didn't do a thing.... hmmm.... Well just thought I'd share, anybody else have this happen??????? And I can't find an ending either.[/SPOILER]

I start in a forrest, go to the big statue, cant open any tresure, found the big area with the tree beasts run into a zone without anything... where are the house or the catacombs? cant found them!
There r no object titles where are the other missions, who the others talk about?!

OK, to answer my own question:
In the first mission, if you run out of fire arrows before you blast your way into the ghost library from one of the dining rooms, there is no other way to enter the ghost library or the catacombs and you miss a large part of the mission, but as I found out earlier, you can still complete the mission.
I did the ghost library and catacombs and got Christine III's magic sword; it's a lot of fun to blast everyone remaining in the mansion with it; especially the guards in the training room. :cheeky: Too bad you don't get to keep your things when you start the second mission.
A couple other things:
In the first mission in Normal (which is how I replayed and held on to my fire arrows), there is no key to the gambling area in the pool and there thus appears to be no way to enter the gambling area if playing the first mission on Normal.
In the second mission, I encountered the same things:
Mission doesn't end even though you obviously enter an empty "end-of-mission" area after all the treebeasts
If the treebeasts kill you, you can continue with no hit points; you don't die
2nd mission question: Is there something you're supposed to do with the dead little treebeasts in the 2nd mission?

This mission has exhuasted me and has gotten a bit too tedious to keep this failure rate up. Soooooo, someone please tell me [SPOILER](1) where the heck is a rope arrow (2) why can't I find the secret switch in the library [/SPOILER]
I have all objectives done except for about $700 in loot and too many darn doors still locked. My other problem is I can't get into the dining room. There are 3 robots right at the door keeping me from getting even 20 feet close to the door. Is there another way into the dining room?

I'm in the same position as JoanieS, except for [SPOILER] the rope arrow. If I remember correctly, there is a secret door in the theater that leads to the rope arrow. [/SPOILER] I keep getting lost, so I can't figure out how to get where I've been. :joke:

I had already got rid of the guards, so i lured the bots out from the dining room and disabled them one by one with water arrows

I WISH I had not started this mission on expert. Too late to restart.
Reading the previous messages, do I understand you cannot get a key to the gambling room unless you are playing on easy?
I think I have been closely examining the wrong room. Obviously, the room with the stage, harp and flutes is not the theater? No wonder I can't find anything. Now, I have to humbly ask where the heck is the theater? Must be behind a door I can't open because I've been everywhere I can go except into the dining room and I cannot get in there with those robots waiting to zap me three times over. Well, wait a second. I have not been able to access the foyer with two archers. The tile floor keeps me from bopping them. Maybe I am missing something huge there. My kingdom for a dozen moss arrows.
