I blitzkrieg-ed:
Christine
...but how can I:
grab the sword? It's floating in front of me, translucent and un-frobable.
Hello UndeadGunslingr, welcome!
As for Christine III's sword:
Forget the floating one, it's an illusion. The real sword awaits, but you have to uncover a secret in the area that you disposed of Christine III before you will get access to it.
Hope this helps.

:grr: All right, here are the answers to the POP QUIZ....
1.) The song on the radio came from Dragon Warrior 7 (Or Dragon Quest 7) for PSX.
2.) The song in the hidden library came from Chrono Trigger for SNES or SFC (depending on what country you're in...)
 I guess I better make these questions a little easier for you guys next time. Oh well. :)

Read this...
Here's what you do after you fight Christine III.
Search the statues, there's switch in one of them. This will open the door to the sword. The door is located to the right of the of the big plaque at the catacomb entrance. Be prepaired to fight.
Note: DO NOT TOUCH THE SWORD OR IT WILL BE LOST FOR EVER.
Just get close enough to grab it.
I hope that helps a lot. :thumb:

UndeadGunslingr,
If you want to avoid a fight:
Once you reach the room where the sword is, use an invisibility potion (if you have one left), run in and grab the sword from the altar, run back out quickly so the guard doesn't see you, then blast his sorry arse. If you're playing on anything other than EXPERT, then make sure to visit the guard training room and introduce them to Christine III's sword. :ebil:
:weird: I'm thinking I shouldn't have quicksaved where I did. I made it to the catacombs, and now I'm searching for Christine. I've reached the area where you need to choose between a hallway which clearly leads to both her and a not-so-solid floor, and never ending portals. I started going through the portals and made the mistake of quicksaving. Not all of the portals are transporting me, and now that I'm here, I can't find a way out! Spoil me to death, please! :)
*drool* I'm loving this mission. If I'm not mistaken I had started it before but quicksaved after I'd set an alarm off, so I decided to just call it a day. I'm surprised I didn't scream bloody murder, I waltzed right over to a locked door and was suddenly dumped into a zombie pit! I whipped out some flashbombs, hurled them at my feet, then whipped out some fire arrows and killed them all. Then, I started stacking zombie heads and torsos and climbed out of the pit. Not my most elegant move, but it was definitely amusing. :cheeky: And the mission's taking a deliciously creepy turn now, I like the mood of the haunted library, and of course, the catacombs. It's reminding me of Ominous Bequest and I'm in absolute heaven. :cheeky:

OK, try this:
Put the torch out in the area where you now are. Go through the portals until you re-enter the other area with a "lit" torch. This will probably be the first area where you began. Now see if you can find the curtain that leads you back to the stairs where you entered (I think it's the southern most curtain). If that's right, you're back to the beginning again.
I hope this helps.
