Trailers are lies! I hate when I watch the movie to discover the only good bits were in the trailer. I also hate going to the movies to spend over five minutes watching stupid trailers. My biggest pet peeve with the movie industry is that there is no originality left. Everything is being "remade" or "rebooted" and it's unnecessary in most cases. I can honestly say that 90% of the time, the original still comes out on top. Almost every blockbuster adheres to a formula and that is getting very tiring as well.

Spoilers almost never bother me. I think The Sixth Sense is the only movie I've seen where I'm genuinely glad I wasn't spoiled beforehand. I don't go to see movies to be surprised at the plot, which is just as well because I think I'd be awfully disappointed if I did.

Yeah, this is a pet peeve of mine but I feel it's getting worse and that trailer is just the worst.
This is also the first time I'm definitely not seeing a film that I would have (pending assurances that the trailer is misleading) based only on the fact that any interest or intrigue that I feel the film held has been erased because of the trailer.
