Just plain whoa. This certainly is one of the more challenging FMs I've played in awhile and I'm quite enjoying myself! Thanks, Fidcal!
The only things I have left to do are meet the loot objective (and find the attic). Which brings me to the display room: can't find it! If it's that metal door to the west where the big mech is patrolling, then I've already tried the display room key on that and it doesn't work. Been up & down the halls where the guards go in & out of the sliding doors & can't get in the next room to save my life (the doors shut too quickly). So where IS the display room, please?
Also, been through the south gate, found the elevator that doesn't work, climbed the rope & got the message on the 2nd arrow, but can't climb down the rope to the open window far below. I've tried shooting rope arrows to help me climb down to that damned window, but either fall to my death or get stuck trying to climb down and can't go any further. I also have no idea how to get 'on the roof', and have tried shooting more rope arrows all over the place and still can't get on the double-damned roof!!
A little help, if you'd be so kind.
Thanks much.
P.S. Absolutely LMAO at the guard that got so overwrought after killing the drunk that he jumped off the ledge! Nice touch!

You're on the right track, Dia. There's a drainpipe in a corner that you can climb to the rooftop. You don't need to get down to the window in the wall. You'll come across that in a later mission.
Display room That is actually the door to the munitions area that you are trying to get into. If you climb the drainpipe mentioned above and have a look in the storage room full of boxes, you'll see a way to get into that room. The Display room door is inside the munitions area.

Thanks Nightwalker (for about the thousandth time)!
Off to look for the drainpipe now.

Funny thing I noticed...
Trying to get Gwen past the guards.
I alerted the guards and then proceeded to lock them out by running to the start point moving in circles and then locking the doors behind them.
That worked but when I went back to the tiled hallway, another set of guards were there.
I did this about three times.:joke:

bob doe nz : There are about 5 guards there as I recall plus the one in the wood floor entrance hall goes in there too sometimes. You might have fun later if you have blown your cover. :cheeky:

Thanks Fidcal for the tips. I never would have thought of double ghosting.
Here's another question:
I have the display room key and I have most of the objectives done, but when I go up the elevator I can't get through those two doors where a guard is sleeping. The only drainpipe I could find to climb was way over by the start of the mission. When I climbed that one and got into the room, I found the metal door in the floor but I can't seem to frob it. So what I am asking is: Where do I go to get into the display room?
mxleader : Check the guard for a key

Well, I could have sworn the objective DID check off when I got to the top of the tower, but it's certainly not checked off now.
I'm having the same problem...
that, and how do I get the elevator to come down? I made it up
the drain pipe to the storage room, but can't see what to do next...
firing arrows at the buttons through the grate doesn't do anything - wrong buttons?

I don't know how to find Jack? How do you get to the top level of the old tower by the garden. Isn't that where he is?

Mr Munkeepants : I'll look into the objectives problem but let me know how you get on when you go back there as described before. I've never seen this error in hundreds of tests so need all the info I can get. thanks.
Elevator hint :
The button you need to hit is the nearest one - that is the most easterly one. As I recall aim the bowsight a bit lower as there is less drop pointing down compared to horizontal. If I get a chance I'll check and get an exact sight and come back [EDIT] It's more centred than I thought. I have put a screenshot (
http://www.jumbery.com/TEMP/ButSight.jpg) HERE so you can see exactly how to line up on it.
Mac The Knave :
Hint 1 :
Read Jack's arrow message to find out where he should be and follow his instructions. Hint 2 :
He came in via the garden. His instructions are to lower a rope
