I finally managed to get a guard out... but where is the attic to end the level?

[SPOILER]I can't seem to hoist myself up on the second ledge to get to the attic via drainpipe? I've got 2 crates to assist me, but still unsuccessful. Am I missing something, or is it just a tricky maneuver[/SPOILER]
[SPOILER]By 2nd ledge, I mean once on the slant roof, I can get on top of a first ledge, which has a break-away section at the far end, but I can't get from there to the next ledge[/SPOILER]

Clock: [spoiler]Stand on the window sill at the south end on top of the broken piece of the lintel. Face north. Turn very slightly one or two degrees to your right so you are slightly pointing away from the wall. Look up at the lintel. Adjust your forward backward position very slightly. Hold down the mantel key and you should go up dead easy. If it doesn't quite work just adjust back or forward a tiny quarter pace. It is a normal easy mantle.[/spoiler]

I have everything completed on Director's Cut, a bit more than 90% of the total loot and found three secrets (if my memory serves me right - I played on two days):
1.[SPOILER]Old watch tower, under crate.[/SPOILER]
2. [SPOILER]Sleeping room of watch, behind small curtains, under crate...[/SPOILER]
3. [SPOILER]Half way down the water pipe leading to the south gate path, behind some large, frobbable brickwork.[/SPOILER]
But what is number 4?
