Fidal - I got lucky with a rope arrow and found a spot to climb up into - but [SPOILER]boy am I clueless now that I'm up here. I got to the chest and can open it but cant frob the item & am clueless how to drop the door across from it.

Also, where is the lock combo? I saw the gaurd's note to reset it - but not sure where to find the actual "code"[/SPOILER]

Garrettwannabe There's a ladder on the wall by the security display screen that takes you up to the combination machine. You have to figure out the code. There are several clues if you find the right area. Check the ceiling in the room with the watcher eye very carefully.

If I'm reading your post correctly, you got into the Maiden's room without following the correct route. Not sure how that would work as I don't think any betatesters managed that! I'd suggest going back down and looking for the correct way up there. You've missed a large portion of the mission.

ok i need some help

i got [SPOILER]gold plated key have no idea where it goes,also need code hint,or where to get hint[/SPOILER]

also i found the [SPOILER]secret in the crystal ball for more objectives[/SPOILER]

also i [SPOILER]removed the blue round tile from wall and hit switch to remove gas from book,not sure how to open glass display[/SPOILER]

Oh, all these puzzles, they're making my head hurt! :cheeky:

[SPOILER]I have now come across a little fairy who has got herself stuck on one of those gates lying against the wall! I plopped my bit of cheese in that niche and she said some other stuff. (Can't remember what) After going back down, I noticed that there was one less rat in that little hole, but saw nothing of the missing rat. I tried dropping the cheese in front of that hole, but nothing. I can't replace the cheese in the niche because it gets thrown back out.

I have killed the skeleton and taken it's eyeballs and there's a gold lock I have no key for, next to the little bridge.

I was amazed to had actually found my own way through to that niche area, via the oil. I found something that was frobbable, but locked, above the golden sign above the chairs and tried my oil on it and to my surprise, things happened!

Where is the rat supposed to appear?[/SPOILER]

Sluggs: [spoiler]go back to the spider web and continue up the wall to find the key. Forget the cheese and the rat as you have done it a different way. I'd like to know how you killed the skeleton as I think you did it the hard way!

[edit: if you play this again and want to see the default method then you simply take the cheese back from the offering bowl (or pick it up off the floor) and then frob it in the inventory. It should appear in the lower middle of the screen so Quiffly (the little rat man who lives behind the little door) can see it. If you wait he should go in front of you to light the way, open the drawbridge, and kill the skeleton. But you must keep the cheese showing as described.[/spoiler]
