Hi Fidcal, I dont know how to say this but i managed to get the pearl by shooting an arrow towards the mask and guess what the rope arrow was stuck in the middle of the ceiling, so i climbed up and jump at the ceiling i was able to walk around and saw a woman in white with wings laying on the ceiling floor. there was another opening which leads to the pearl. Fidcal i do not believe that this is what you had in mind. Im I wrong.
Fidcal, I am in the gold room and unable to get the mask or get to the bridge. Oh by the way what do i do with the oil.

Finished, an hour in game time, nearly 3 hours in real time. Glad that's over.

gorice : frob distance : Sorry you don't like these. I personally dislike the opposite. Having to figure out how to get the crystal just out of reach gives an extra challenge for the player to work out. It was not obvious to many how to get it. To be honest originally it was not intended that you rope up. A much more interesting way is to try to jump from the water above and to one side. Only much later I found the mortar was ropeable. Perhaps it was obvious to you but to many, including myself, it was not.
The air shaft could originally be mantled but up there the scene - the wide view of the sky made no sense and would have be much developed. In the end I reluctantly narrowed the shaft. There were a lot more areas of Nightwatch I wanted to develop but I would never have finished it.
Gryphons : Sounds like you missed some loot in Mission 1.

Silent Warrior : yes you broke through where it was not intended. Makes no sense to be able to rope through water. I never could. Not sure how I can stop that but noted anyway in case I do an update. Thanks for info.
hint 1 : examine the waste basket in Meeks room
hint 2 : read the message on the wall outside the big gold door
spoiler : the 'mighty arrow prominent' is the room itself
spoiler: use the oil like a key on the wall stone faces above the left throne.

clearing : gaze deep into the crystal ball. To do this, crouch facing it, best on the side where the plaque is, move forward close and lean forward. Look down deep into the centre of the crystal ball. Fallen out of the wastebasket is a scrap of paper with a clue how to use the oil.

I have finished mission 2 Elicitation, and am now in m/3 reorientation, I don't see anything that I can do in there, any help would be appreciated.

Hi Fidcal, I was wondering how do i get the drawbridge to go down, or and how do i get up there? I am in the area where the pearl is but unable to get the gate to open.
I read people are using the blackjack to kill the beast. Why dont they use the sword. I am playing on expert setting.
