I seem to have found another way of defeating the skeleton.
I couldnt get the ratty guy to leave his house, so
[SPOILER]I managed to unlock the drawbridge with the curious key by leaning round the corner without the skelly seeing me. Then I ran accross the bridge and opened the chest. The skelly, who followed me, just disintigrated.[/SPOILER] .:ebil:

Yes, the curious key is a legitimate alternative. Did you not meet Seraphina? and place the offering in the offering bowl?

It seems nobody had probs with them...........
I killed one [SPOILER]the other seems to be inside a shadowy thingie and I'm not able to defeat it[/SPOILER]

Maga: You don't need to but if you really want to then persist with the sword attacking the left side and the creature eventually should come out. Or you might try a frogbeast egg if you have found any

Well, nearly at the end of mission and............stuck!!!!!:eek:

Hi there,
I've jsut started and I am stuck....so soon.
I got in, found 2 keys, got my BJ but from there how do I proceed.
I have clues from observatory and [SPOILER]tried to look deep into that crystal ball, nothing happens:confused: [/SPOILER] according to the threads, I should be albe to see somthing or frob anything but nothing of the sort so I am a bit lost.
I tried to use [SPOILER]gold[/SPOILER]key and lockpicks on next doors but nothing get opened so that I gather I am missing quite a lot. :(

thanis: Look really deep - crouch down, press the lean forward key (check your controls if you don't know it) and push your face right up to the crystal ball and look real deep. It should indicate you have found a secret the first time so listen and look round to see what it reveals. If you don't see it the first time you can repeat but time will hide it from you. Also re-read Jaskew's notes for a clue when you go downstairs again.

Thanks Fidcal....I finally managed to get the stuff. Although nothing could be seen inside!!!!I just frobbed madly..and stupid me:tsktsk: had to look into options to learn how to lean forward..ha! you wouldn't believe I played this game for a while eh?
I'm goign to play soon but i am really puzzled...

I've read everything in this thread that I can find about
the coin. I've raised the drawbridge, and I can see the coin, but I've been firing arrows like crazy for 45 minutes and can't get one to stick anywhere. Is there a possibility of a screenshot to show me where to shoot?Thanks in advance for any help. I'm getting very frustrated.
