@Gloria (and anyone else stuck on this): I've uploaded a gamesave @ (http://jumbery.com/TEMP/game0009.sav) Put that in your SAVES folder in your Thief folder. You might want to back up/move away temporarily any gamesave you already have with the same name. In Thief's Load menu it will show as NWdoneCrystalBall. Load that and all that has happened is I started the mission and went straight to get the stuff so nothing else done. And it's on Hard so you get the extra help notes in the inventory.

Fidcall, I did put my head inside and I even reached for the scroll and two health potions, just by waving my sword. The moneybag and the oil still don't light up. I did all you suggested allready, before asking these questions.
I'll try the link, but I'm not sure I can do this.

Director's Cut.
I've finished all objectives except the Egg and going back to Gwendeline. I've stopped the fan. But when I re-enter to duct there is an Invisible Wall approx where the yellow wiring cuts across the duct. I've tried edging down the LHS of the duct I stop at the same place. I've stood up and then crouched for over twenty mins, incase it's a very close fit, to no avail.

I've the Book, the Eyes, the Pearl, the Mask, the crystal, the Coin, all secrets and 2560 loot.

Is there something I have missed which is stopping me getting past the fan.

Same as rastas. i cannot get past the wires, before the fan. Is it a bug or what?

Thanks for the offer. But i decided to throw it into the trash. I cannot believe that it could pass the the beta testings. Then there is all the other things, i dont remember how many times i looked in the walkthrough. Not fun.

I assume you're playing on expert? There's an old gaylesaver script module in the zip, renamed to "Nightwatch.osm". Delete it in the FM folder. You should have the (https://dromed.whoopdedo.org/public_scripts/index) Public Script module loaded if you're using T2fix. If not, put it in the FM folder and rename it to "Nightwatch.osm". The author of a old mission can't do much if a old script doesn't work any more. This has nothing to do with beta testing many years ago. That's not fair.

So you entered the code DICE. In rare cases it can happen, that the switch on the other side of the fan doesn't work. Then insert the code again and the barricade will be destroyed.
