Is there any way to destroy that probe thing that comes out of the ceiling in the room with the code box up the ladder ? Its rather annoying to me. I have managed to lure it out by the statue and close the door before it comes back in but what about when I have to go back out there ? :weird:

maloo : you need to
use (like a key) the anointing oil on the stone with the face with 'weakened eyes' above the thrones What does the big gold thing do when I push it up by the web ?
Also whats up with the draw bridge? All I can do is look up at it.

Lightningline :
Probe (hoverbot) : Two ways. It only guards those rooms so when you go out you can dash past it and down the stair and it won't follow. It might fire through the curtain though so don't hang about. The other way is to let it back in and dash back into the black tunnel. You see, like any guard, if you leave it alone until it is no longer alert it will eventually return up to its listening post above (it goes in the little metal door near the ladder up to the code input) However, it has been known to go wrong and get stuck there. The ideal way to deal with it is to not alert it in the first place. This is the hoverbot referred to in the watch log book in Mission 1 as being specially sensitive to sound. If you put down moss in the glass dome room and avoid alerting the watcher and making any other noise then you need not see it at all. If some other time you want to see it going in the little door and up the ramp then creep in the alcove near the door, crouch, and fire an arrow at the watcher to make a noise. The hoverbot should come down. Don't go out, stay put. Don't even lean out else it might see you. Just wait and eventually after it has nosed around for a while you should see it go in the little door and up the ramp.
The big gold button has a thin silver wire that leads all the way back to the glass dome cabinet to unlock it. Forget the drawbridge till later.
I have used a rope arrow to get up to the broken fan. I cannot seem to do anything but get killed when I touch the fan or try to turn the switch on the wall I see the floating dice, but cannot get to them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think there is a problem. I am playing the mission on "expert" ( the middle difficulty in this case):
It seems the Hovarth (the large skeleton) just doesn't want to die. I have the small rodent creature follow me, lower the drawbridge, and then start fighting the skeleton. The problem is -- the fight seems to never end. Is it invicible? I have read that others have defeated it and indeed I think it has to die so I can get those gems which are an objective.
Do I just have to be more patient. Quiffly has hit him with at least 20-30 blasts and he still lives.
