Thanks, Fidcal, but I already read that readable (the one actually on the Deathly Angel's pedestal, right?) It doesn't give me any hint where the round tile is to be found... which is the clue I need!

Dafydd : Did you follow my previous help? If not, go back in the Book of Magick Room and investigate the glass dome full of gas. Look at where the gas comes into the cabinet. Follow the gas pipe (with your eyes) and see where it leads. Look there for a rounded stone. The only clue on that readable is that there is a rounded stone and that it is likely in the Book of Magic Room. There are clearly lots of round stone like things on all the walls in there. But which one? There is no further clue but to use reason and follow where the gas comes from. Or else examine every round stone in there.
[EDIT] I'm curious if you are playing on Hard and if you didn't hear the audible clue (the Garrett Comment) when you investigated the cabinet with the gas in it. Did it not sound?
[EDIT] Just refreshed my memory and the specific comment is "If I follow this pipe up it should take me right to the control" Did that fail to sound?

I enjoyed part one of this mission but this part two mission is very frustrating :confused:. The puzzles are difficult enough but now;
[SPOILER]I have gazed into the crystal ball and a banner slides away to reveal some potions and a scroll and - guess what? i can't frob them! I've tried crouching to get the objects but they just don't light up :mad:! Then, the banner slides back into place and I can't see the objects at all.
Why does everything have to be so difficult to reach? I have to lean very close at the best of times but this oil potion thing is ridiculous:tsktsk: . [/SPOILER]
Does anyone else have this problem? Any hints? Thanks!

Nightstone : Sorry this has been so frustrating. In that particular situation the frob distance were kept short because otherwise you could grab them right through the banner Now I can only suggest this. Stand don't crouch on the top step and pressed against the wall facing the centre of the opening. Lean forward and frob. You might just grab half the first time and then turn slightly and lean forward again. The trick is to lean into the space. Let me know how you get on.

I like this fan mission but I am finding part two difficult and frustrating. The story and the effects are very good, though and I will continue playing, now. I just get very impatient when I think I won't be able to continue playing a good fm like this one :devil: !

I'm up above the gold room ( very proud that I made it by reading the papers ! ;) , but I missed the round blue tile . I was
looking for a small blue tile , and I forgot to jump !!! Also could
read only half of the hint on the Death Angel statue.....the chair
only pushed 1 way .
I'm hoping that I can do that later........or does it interrupt the story??
Loved part 1 , but this part seems to be a lot harder.:confused:

NAC : You can do the rounded stone (blue tile) later on your way back. The chair in front of the pedestal can be pushed completely away from the back but you don't need to. You can frob the message to read it as normal text. Not sure what other help you need now if any?
