OK. I got to the control room through the broken window, flipped the switch, went down the ladder KO'd 2 guards, tried to go through the conveyor tunnel, then went down the long ramp where there was a single guard, climbed up on the big pipe and opened the hatch and went through till I was stopped by a grate, opened the hatch and got into a room where I got some flares and now I can't go anywhere else. I'm stuck, what did I do wrong? No hints please just tell me what to do to get back on track. I have not found the rope arrow either.

Lynx67: When you come out of the hatch in the room with the flares under the table there is an air duct running at the side of the water pipe. There is a grid on the side of the air duct that swings down and you can get inside. You can either climb down and jump up to frob it open or jump across to the air duct and lean over or you can just reach it from the water pipe itself by crouching on the edge and leaning over.

OK, just tell me exactlly where to find the rope arrow. I have looked everywhere and can't find the body where supposedly the rope arrow is. Tell me in words of one syllable, also where is the damn switch?

Lynx67 :[SPOILER]Follow the air duct along to the next room, over the big pipe, down the elevator to the bottom floor. There is a key on the left hand side of the body, you need to crouch down to get it. Back up the elevator one floor. Open the portcullis with the key. Climb in the air duct on the other side of the room. Follow it to the left to find Durbage's body. Take his rope and map. Back out. The switch to open the portcullis is behind the stack of crates. Lean in to it from the right corner or jump on the crates and crouch over. Down on the elevator again, quicksave, along the transit conveyor, crouch near the end and walk backward so you don't come out too fast. Attack, sneak, or run past the 2 guards, through the open doorways to the ladder. Up two ladders and back out to the control room. Make sure you have activated the hatch lever in the control room. On Hard you can also put on the lever light on the control just above that activation switch. Back down to the whirlpool. Quicksave. The lever is below the big outlet pipe into the whirlpool. You can use the rope on the side plank near the bridge. Or you can climb down onto that big outlet pipe and use the rope in the bridge on that side. Once you have frobbed the lever dive down into the centre of the whirlpool and down through the hatch in the floor of the whirlpool.[/SPOILER]

The Whirpool vortex was fun. When I eventually got it
I am almost sure!/certain I turned those switches had the rope close by, then realised.It was not lit.Doh
I had Tried for hours and hours. I thought in the end It was not right. Until I went back and re- did that. Ooops. I must have not saved it. I had drowned a few times.
Loved the Fast walkway.
I did not like near the the end that Swamp :eek:
Had a bit of a problem getting on the pipe,climbed the up pipe and jumped down :thumb: Now for 4!

Glad you made it Gillie. :thumb: Just to clarify the hatch lever in the pool has to be activated by the control room switch else it does not highlight to be frobbable, but it does not necessarily need to be 'lit' by the light (which is also turned on in the control room near the activation switch.) That light just makes it slightly easier to see from some angles and in fact is broken on Expert and DC. I hope the swamp at the end was a 'good' bad and not a 'bad' bad!

Light I thought I had turned the activation switch. When I wen back there. I obviouly had not saved it.
I am daft!. I am playing on Hard.
As to the
cave/swamp. A very good bad! just eerire. I can never kill burricks either

Hello
I got rope and all. I can climb down but can't frob the switch and get washed away....I must be doing something wrong here:confused: .
Does anyone has an advice?
