So with (
http://postmortemgame.com) Postmortem releasing Thursday and doing online sales I figured I'd need some legal disclaimers. Naturally, I decided to take inspiration of fellow indie devs like Home, Dear Esther, Lone Survivor or Hotline Miami. I jumped to their websites and game folders... and was left baffled!
Not a single of the sell sites has any sort of "Terms and Conditions," or legal disclaimers. Checking game folders I couldn't find any of the typical EULAs either. Heck, Home doesnt even't have a ReadMe, and Hotline Miami's is literally a list of 5 tweaks if you encounter technical problems. Not even a the game title in the file. Launching games, nothing in the menus either...
Am I missing something here o.0

Are we so starved for reading material?

Well, you don't really need an end user licence unless you plan to licence the software to users. A lot of it is already covered by copyright law if you're just selling the stuff. And stuff like disclaimer of warranty and limitation of liability clauses are just in case someone wants to sue.

I will be glad to draft you a horrendously complicated EULA for an equally horrendous fee.
