Thanks for the help! I wrote down SE corner for Horten's room by mistake (I'm learning disabled), but it was good practice :)
Those balcony doors didn't open on 'easy' as I recalled so I hadn't even bothered trying them. Argh. Excellent example of a level where new areas open up on the harder difficulties.
All done with it, on the hardest difficulty and not one human touched. I'm most proud of getting the armory key <IMG SRC="devil.gif" border="0">

Sand arrows, I carried them around and even found a couple more<br />but couldn't figure out what to do with them <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I think you can use them to blind the guards temporarily, sort of like flashbombs, but they don't fly very far, so you have to be fairly close for them to work. I'm not sure about that because I didn't use them much, either. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

There's a book that lights up on one of the bookcases. That's the trigger to open it.

There are bookcases in the room. On the opposite side of the room from the safe, there is a book on one of them that lights up. Check carefully. It's fairly high up.

I've Dispatched everybody in the mansion, but can't find a way into one room upstairs (lone door at end of hall with noble who runs out locking it behind him without a key when you hit the alarm), 2 rooms downstairs (buy the main entrance gates one door on each side of the hallway - can hear voices their but can't get a reaction to anything), and finally...I can't find the basement! (my thief skills must be lacking.
