The combination is
3241
:)

Wasn't the combination located in a secret spot inside the very room that contains the safe ?
If I recall right, it was near a table. No matter. I think it needed deciphering anyway.

I think it depends on the difficulty setting what you find in that little cupboard. On Easy, I believe you actually get the combination, but on the other two, you get the clue and you need to figure it out. You open the cupboard by pushing a button under the desk. :)

Ah, yes....I remember it well. I can never figure out those ryhmes or hints. I just may an educated guess. Eventually I got the right combo.

on expert, took me about 4.5 hours, game time (the longest i've ever spent on one level). several days, real time. argh, it was frustrating, but fun. i really hate that guy guarding the seal, real pain in the caboose. and then i had to haul that guard back all the way, yeesh.
ah well, 'tis rewarding in the end. i like the ending, by the way, very clever :sly:
on to the next one (The Mage's Area, i think, or maybe the Mystery Man. ah, decisions, decisions...)

Good job! :thumb: The Order of the Vine is quite difficult on Expert, with the KO limit.

I am having troubles (obviously). I need to find the Gold Key (on Hard level). I think it's in a vault in the Master Bedroom. However, it's locked and I don't know how to get in (that is, I can't). So, I hope for hints , but if it's too hard to come up with some, then just use a Spoiler. Thanks,

The way to open the safe is in the same room.
Welcome to the forum, by the way! :)

I, once again, need to get/find more stuff that I can't get/find. For starters, I'm on the Hard difficulty setting.
I need in the Treasury, and I need the 4-digit code. I found a paper with 4 lines, and I think those are hints on how to solve the puzzle, but I am stumped.
Another thing is two doors on the big balcony (if you leave the dining room, you enter there). The two doors are on opposite ends of the lobby (upstairs on the balcony), but none of my keys work on them. So is there a key I have to find? Or is the door unopenable?
Once again, hints are what I'm looking for, but if you can't think of any without totally giving it away, then just tell me.
Thanks,
-A
