Woo thanks Nightwalker TootV is now done, I totally didn't see that guard when I was down there before!
What are some more good mansion missions?
Nightwalker on 20/12/2002 at 18:08
For Thief Gold, you should try Mystery Man, if you like mansion missions. It's terrific and there's tons of loot hidden in the most unusual places. :) There are lots of other good ones, too. Rogue's Honor is partly inside a large mansion and it's fun, so is Turning the Tables, and Ramirez' Revenge. Lord Binclair is good, but it's not strictly all in one mansion, though most of it is. There's also some streets and a crypt area to explore. The same thing applies to Lorgan's Web, which an outstanding mission. There are plenty more, though, that are really good.
There are also lots of mansion type missions for T2. Do you have that as well? If you do, a few good ones are The Art of Thievery, A Visit to Lord Ashton's, the first mission in the Shining Standards mission pack Lord Vernstein's Manor, Saturio Returns Home, The 7th Crystal, Sammy Pays his Dues, and Embracing the Enemy.
You mean the guard laying on the ground in the temple where "The Seal" is? Near the crazy old dude? The head guard? I never got that objective. He aint dead?
:D
Nightwalker on 21/12/2002 at 02:26
Yes, that's him. You only get the objective to save him on Expert. :)

I've got the 'Siegel' and this guard guy over my shoulder, made my way back 2 top, but the 'break into treasury chamber' doesn't check (on expert). Where's my fault?
Andreas :-)

Have you actually been into the Treasury? It's a set of double doors, just up the hallway from the door to the machinery room that you enter the building by. The doors are guarded by 2 guards and inside the first room, you have to figure out a code to use to unlock a gate that guards the second room. When you get in there, that objective is replaced with another one.

I thought I found the answer in the forums, but I was wrong. Oh yeah, spoilers ahoy!
I have found the bronze/silver/gold keys. I got the head by using the gold key on the pyramid in the dining room.
Where do I use the head though? I tried "dropping" it like one topic suggested, both on the obelisk in front of the treasury, and on the pedestal in vampire-boy's room (Ginbal or something). Where am I supposed to use this taffing head?
Nightwalker on 10/3/2003 at 18:46
There's a secret room where you use the keys and the head. Go down into the basement room that's across the hallway from the garden doors. Look for a small lever on the wall. :)
SlyFoxx on 10/3/2003 at 20:33
There you go. Nightie beat me to the punch again. No go forth and taff....and be careful
BlueNinja on 11/3/2003 at 01:28
Beat it shortly after. I somehow missed that little lever my first time through that room, but found it the second (on a very slow search). Also used a spoiler from my earlier forum search to shoot a fire arrow into the far corner to give me enough time to run up and grab the seal and get away. And I didn't fall into the portal the second time around! :cheeky:
