Here's moss in thine eye.
The very best of luck with your enterprise...don't let our buggy friend DromEd get you down too much.
Looking forward to seeing it.

Yes voodoo47, there will indeed be many many zombies for you to demonstrate the Builders' might! With enough to hopefully sate the appetite of any blood hungry undead exterminators!
Intruder, there's still not an exact number but for each campaign I'm hoping to crank out between 10 and 15 missions. 30 (maximum) in all. This is obviously just a rough idea because the number may change due to time, other commitments, demands of the story, etc.
Cheers Ravenhook, I'll be a Gollum-like husk by the end of this but I'll be happy at least :D

30 missions? All on your own? Respect.
Your ideas sound fabulous. Playing with Hammerites was always my favorite part of the game but playing as an Hammerite is new to me. And I like your logo menu. Summarizes the main plot very nicely.

That's an impressive number of missions you are aiming for. In this case, you should consider cloning GORT multiple times to assemble a team of very productive DromEd'ers :joke:

I don't want to toss cold water on you as I don't know exactly how much experience you have with Dromed but even 10 full missions is a MONUMENTAL undertaking especially if you're considering creating lots of custom content. (Even if they are all small) I've been here a long time and have seen many posts similar to yours and almost all have come to nothing. I don't say this to be mean, I just say this because it's true. People get grand ideas, they get working on ten things at once and end up finishing nothing. Though there's nothing wrong creating a grand story arc for a lot of missions, keep your main focus on one mission at a time.
Good luck and may The Builder guide thee steps.

Yeah 30 really is ambitious but most of the stuff I need I have right here, one of the benefits of being an actor/special FX editor/shut-in/3D artist... I have a lot of free time and a lot of hobbies... ;)
That said, I'll probably be outsourcing for custom objects here and there or tutorials for things I'm not too solid on but these are just bridges I'll be crossing when they pop up. Any help is greatly appreciated and earns credits when it's finished... Can't just have my name popping up all over the place lol

Not at all SlyFoxx, I welcome all posts and you're absolutely right, a lot of people get eyes much bigger than their stomach, but like you say, one thing at a time is the best way to go. Taking it mission by mission will make it much easier.
I've got about 8 years Dromed experience but admittedly I've been out of it for the last 2 focusing more on 3DS Max and After Effects so hopefully the Dromed will come back to me pretty quickly and the new experience will help get some of those classic briefings and cutscenes we all know and love :D

As another long time TTLGer, I can echo what Sly is saying. 30 missions is crazy talk. There's not a single author in this community over the last 12 years or so who has released that many levels cumulatively - that includes Christine, Sensut, Yandros, cardia1, Haplo, etc. - all the Dromed heavyweights. Even 10-15 is overly ambitious for just one person. T2X was 13 missions, and that took dozens of people working together on the project over a period of 5 years. I really think if you're aiming in that direction on your own, you're setting yourself up to fail and the project will crash and burn.
Don't get me wrong - I hope this isn't the case, but I'm just giving an honest opinion here. Maybe start with a 2-3 mission campaign at first and see how it goes, then you can expand from there. There's a huge difference between just casual Dromeding, and actually completing and releasing an FM.
All that said - best of luck to you, I'll be watching this thread too.

Also, unless that changed with 1.19 —I didn't check this, and don't have the game available here at work— we have a limited number of slots per campaign for savegames in the T2 interface... that would be an issue for all those who like to keep a hard save right before the end of every mission :p
