OR you could just use bugs. Get a character with like 40,000 Intelligence, Willpower, Personality, Agility, Endurance, and Luck. And about 2,000 Strength and 200 speed (you don't want it too high) And you can get this about a half hour or so into the game ^^. Then get infinite weapon skill. I once had a character like this. I killed vivec in like 3 hits, and I could kill any other NPC in one hit.
It's really insane. It's basically a glitch where the fortify attributes don't go away.
You get fortify attribute 100 points on self, and get all the attributes except strength and speed. (Make sure your willpower is high first, you may want to make a spell that fortifies 10 or so willpower first) then you put soul trap on TARGET for 1 second and area 0.
Then cast it and the fortifications won't go away. You just don't want too high strength (Or your weapons will break in 1 hit) or too high speed (odd stuff would happen)

I killed Dagoth Ur in while he was still invincable without using any bugs, mods or exploits (well it was sort of an exploit but nothing unfair).
I just dropped everything I didn't need to carry (using therana's cuirass and greaves helps so does things enchanted with fortify strength), then load up with as much exclusive and quality fortify strength potions as I can find, the qaurra blood potion and as much flin as I can carry; then drink them all and give him a nice twack with the bound battle axe (so you don't waste weight on a real weapon)

i have the bestest character ever!!
major skillz:
security
acrobatics
enchant
french kissing
hand-to-hand
mini skills:
armorer
unarmored
sneak
petting
taming
i've maxed out armorer by buying armor and throwing it aginst the wall to break it and then i repair it. i need to work on my musicanship though so taming is still down low, gotta work up my animal lore as well...

... Heh?
I'll tell you what the best character isn't. And that's a mage with all magic skills as his Major and Minor, excluding two for blunt weapon and unarmored. I'm level 30 and it's still rough going.

I hope your using staffs! Hand to hand as well it harder.
Striker on 1/8/2005 at 03:36
Staves. :P
And I hope you remembered that there's a bug that causes Unarmoured not to work unless you have atleast 1 piece of armour equipped.

I'm using the Cuirass of the Savior's Hide to somewhat make up for my magicka weakness, but thank you Striker, I didn't know about that bug!
And yes. I refuse to use maces. Except Bound Mace (I have a full Bound suit). But that's only when I need to get my hands dirty. But yeah, only staffs. That's the Wizard way! I never actually use it, either. It's enchanted, so I blast things.
Did you know with the exception of (I think) daedric and ebony, the Wooden staff has the best enchantment value of all the staffs? It might even beat daedric. I haven't been able to check it yet.

What are wood ones enchantment value? I know ebony has the highest enchantment value. Bonemold bow has the second highest out of all the weapons in the game (after ebony staff)
