Guys, please trust me when I say this: Absolute professionalism is going to be your only chance of getting anywhere with this. Translations in Japanese (just to give it that extra special comment) when it's not your native language is actually insulting.
As for the petition itself, English is used in general when dealing with international business matters. If this was a petition for a regionally exclusive property (say a Russian game, released only in Russia) only then should the petition should be written that language--otherwise, use English to avoid being, once again, insulting.
Also, Morosetroll, please remove the (!) from your salutation ("Dear Mr. Yoichi Wada!")--this is a huge faux pas for a business letter (hell, any letter for that matter).

Are you sure about (!)? Nobody told me that is a faux pas. Why you have not told me about it earlier, before petition was started? Right now I just can edit/remove comments, not more. So I cannot delete it.
BTW, please, state the source of your knowledge of business letter's rules. It's curious to read, I guess ;).

Queue is right, my source being four years of college with A's in every english class;) Ironically, I think I missed that when I proofread your petition so it's actually somewhat my fault.
Regardless, it can't be changed now, and also I think Queue meant international as in the recipients' primary language is other than English, which is not the case here.
