I'd like to thank everybody who have signed this petition, including numerous Czech (and Slovak, I guess) taffers :). Let's hope Eidos will hear our voices...
Stan_The_Thief on 18/10/2010 at 08:02
Signed it.
But wouldn't this be more effective if someone posted the contact info for Eidos' offices, and all the people who signed the petition would write a letter and an email to Eidos? I'm not sure how collecting votes alone will attract attention.

I doubt that.they would just get annoyed and throw them out anyway.the best thing we (regular users) can do,is stir the waters as much as possible=inform as many people as we can,get this info on as many news sites as we can,and get as many petition signatures as we can.
as I said, there is no guarantee it will help, but hey,it's still better than sitting down and doing nothing.

Didn't someone say they code was found, and the dev who has it only has to strip away the System Shock code bits from it? Perhaps if he could be contacted again, he would understand the need and get the code out to the public?

Stan_The_Thief: Calm down :). Yes, that former LGS employee has been contacted several times since he/she has transferred the code to Eidos Montréal, but he/she denies to cooperate anymore because he/she thinks that he/she already did what he/she have to. The ball right now is in the Eidos Montréal' side, so we just must convince it to cooperate with us. Publicity is a best method for that, and I must agree with everybody who thinks that way.

The former LGS employee did what was right, and I hope people see that and don't badger this person for doing the responsible thing.
