that is a very good idea.when I think about it,most of the fixes/enhancements are not even mentioned in the FAQs (and many of them are quite essential),they are just sort of lost in all the regular posts/threads.a nice website with clean graphics containing all essential fixes and enhancements, short descriptions, couple of screenshots and maybe a few videos would be a great way how to promote all that great stuff that has been created here.
edit: I actually got someone who is willing to make the webpage,so this time,I might actually be able to offer some REAL help.

The former LGS employee did what was right, and I hope people see that and don't badger this person for doing the responsible thing.
the responsible thing would have been to release the code anonymously. what he did was put the final nail in the coffin, now we'll never get those codes.

No, that would not have been responsible. It WOULD have been beneficial...to US, but it would not be the responsible thing to do....at least not in terms of keeping things on the up and up. Whatever happens, happens. If it's meant to be, it will happen.

releasing the code anonymously would be the right thing to do,no matter how you look at it.but I don't blame him/her for not doing it,as I understand that in this case, doing the right thing was simply not legal.too bad.
anyway, can we drop this legal/illegal release/not release noodles/not noodles talk? it's not going anywhere, what happened just happened, and it couldn't happen any other way..

Yes, like I said, the right thing for us...but there are ways to track anonymous releases...and if we had access to the code, but it was illegal for us to do anything with it...then there's really no benefit to us having it.
Somewhere inside me, there is a glimmer of hope that they'll be able to clear all the hurdles to get this released.

I can take care of the webdesign,if no one else is willing to help.or rather,I can make my brother do it,he does this for a living, and he is not half bad at it.but he is going to need some input, and he is not an artist,so someone else will have to provide art (or he can just rip it from available free sources, heh).

I'm too busy, most likely until the end of this year.

If there's not too much content to maintain then I might be able to do it. I'm imagining a static page with some fancy image borders, a straight listing of maybe 5-6 missions and additional pages, screenshots, short reviews or quotes for each one, links to TTLG and other sites.
