It's not all there. At least some header files are missing, so it doesn't compile. Also, all the lgd3d_* functions are missing.
At least it should be very useful for OPDE :)

Ideally, this would make OPDE obsolete.

This is great!
Except for the legal issue.
Do we tell Eidos and hope that they retrieve it for themselves, and then re-release it to the public? (I doubt this will happen, already people don't care)
Or do we just pretend like this news never happened and go on about our business hoping Eidos doesn't know or care what we do with the sources?

I think you understand how much I'd like 'your sentence' to be true

it's not complete sources but many interfaces has been showed and with IDA Pro + Hex-Rays we can try to recreate dromed.

Is that critical?

I'll leave this to others but lgd3d is just a wrapper around either D3D or software implementation - that thing could be written again in the matter of weeks.

Might be a good time to take it in a different direction...port it into OpenGl....then it will pave the way for letting it run natively on Linux and Mac.

They had their chance to do something when MoroseTroll found a former LGS dev who had the code and handed it to them in good faith. They've been sitting on it since February without an update...after Thief players did the leg work for them.
Tell them what they've told us...absolutely nothing!

Go on about our business. The community has waited long enough to get their hands on this.
