I'm in the small room with colourful tiled floor, the stone pedestal with the red book and scroll, statues close to the walls. I can't find a flute.

I'm trying to find the secret missions and from reading above I understand that I need a flute from behind the piedestal with the book and the scroll. But there is no flute to be found there, what makes it trigger? I have hit the notorious statue switch in the lava room. Playing on Deathwish.

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently I can't read <facepalm>

I think you have to read the book & scroll, then go cut the exit opening, then come back and flute should be there. If you slashed it before reading them, try again doing it in that order.

I've got something odd here. On my first playthrough I've managed to finish the first city mission I think it's the 4th mission of the regular missions not counting the secret ones. Short thereafter I had to reinstall my OS (Windows 10), but didn't keep my savegames anywhere.

Now I'm replaying the whole campaign again. In the mission "A Travel Through Smelter Volcano" I found the flute, repeated the whole process for the portal to secret Mission to appear. Went down into the corridor with the portal but stepping through it, doesn't teleport me to the secret mission but to the next regular one with the underground tunnels and a lot of spiders Forgot the name of that mission. But anyways, has somebody encountered the same thing? I think I somehow broke the script of that mission.

Question to GORT: Did some of your Beta-Testers encountered the similar problem? Any idea how to fix it? If that#s not possible I'm not replaying the "Smelter Volcano again, but carry on with the next mission.
